Bottle proof setlists

Postby Don » Fri May 22, 2009 4:15 am

Seeing as Journey will be playing a few Heavy Metal Festivals this summer, what Set list would be good enough not to get bottled over.

Here are my choices.

One More
Castles Burning
Edge of The Blade
Lay it Down
Precious Time
Can Do
La do da
Homemade Love
Where were you
Line Of Fire
Separate Ways
Of a lifetime
Anyway you want it

I left off SIL intentionally as I find it to be more of a pop song pretending to be harder than it is but betrayed by its sappy lyrics.

Edge of the Blade is a must, and I think Where Did I Lose Your Love would fit in nicely.

Throw in Back Talk as well...

I have to agree with Stevew2 on this one, Arnel trying to do an natural sounding stutter might just come off as total garbage.

I agree! Like Gunbot said...trying to imitate SP's stutter would probably just come off sounding a mess.
I can't believe someone chose Back Talk over Only The Young either...OTY far exceeds BT. Don't know who made that decision but it was not a good one.

You mean highly illegal way? :D

I think the song's an utter crock. It's stupid all the way around and hardly something to be played at a metal concert. I'd rather listen to "Open Arms", myself.

Disagree, lyrics aside, it's got a great bluesy swagger to it.......I like it. :)

Can't even tell by the LYRICS that it's creepy.

Who knew "Jellyroll love" meant underage groupie?

LOL, first time I heard it I had no idea it was about underage groupies. I just thought it was a sexy little number. Didn't know that, until I read it here a while back.
