Also noticed that Eclipse is #1 on the top 100 best sellers list for albums, while Def Leppard's Mirrorball comes in at #2. Two classic rock bands taking the top spots, pretty cool. Neither album hasnt even been released yet either. Pre-order sales must be doing really well for both bands so far.

I always like it when I see this for older bands and singers.

Steve Perry could have trumped both of those if he would have gotten a record out.

Ummm...I'll pass. We don't need another ATW, or FTLOSM.

I don't think so.

No, just redundant...Neil Young and Sarah McLachlan already called their live albums "Mirror Ball".

Didn't Neil call his Mirror, no space, Ball?!?!
But, I agree, FU ...makes me think DISCO!!

Following up on Sparkle Lounge ... maybe their alter egos hang out with Barry Manilow or KC and the Sunshine band or something, but I just don't get it ... saw them a dozen times over the last several years ... no sparkle or glitter in sight
Don wrote:Wal-Mart Best Sellers List as of today.
1. Mirror Ball
2. Richard Marx
3. Eclipse
4. New Kids On The Block/ Back Street Boys Convergence album ( this album comes out the same week as Journey's)
I understand how Richard Marx is up there as his album is now released and getting physical sales on top of the pre-orders but a live album like Mirror Ball? This record just became available to order so for it to pass other albums that have been collecting preorders for the last month or more is a real surprise.
I'm going to assume it's the 3 disc package with #1 and #2 causing the instant sales swing. This really shows the power of having a BONUS disc to give away, like Journey had in 2008 with Revelation.
I was wondering how the NKOTBBSB album came out of nowhere to be #4 on this list but now I see. It has a bonus DVD also (and poster) included in the package.
Another puzzling thing to me I was why Lady Gaga's new album ws only ranked #77 but I now see that Target is offering the deluxe edition for three dollars cheaper, and even Best Buy has it going for less than Wal-Mart's price.
Mystery solved.

Maybe Gaga's fans don't shop at Wal-Mart, so don't even think about ordering from there.
Don wrote:Still no audio clips for Eclipse on the Wal-Mart site. Granted, they're out here on the net for the hardcore fans but when do you demo the stuff for casual fans perusing through Wal-Mart's Online music selection?
