It sure is. But it's 2 people who started it, and they did it on every single thread that I ever posted on, no matter what I said. Now they have 2 followers who are continuing it. I've just been responding and telling them if they want me to leave, they should contact a moderator. In your opinion, should I not respond? Should I just let them say what they like about me, misquote me and say nothing? Because I'm just not that kind of person.

I know how you feel.

I just came on here about a month ago and I too have been verbally abused by some of the other members.

Unfortunately in the month that I have been posting on here it appears to me that almost anything goes when it comes to rules on these message boards.

I dared to defend Steve Augeri and Journey and was bashed by some of those who just can't get past the fact that Journey continued on without Steve perry.

The funny thing is that I am probably every bit as huge of a Steve perry fan as them, only I understand that there was a Journey before Steve Perry and now there's a Journey after Steve Perry.

Try to ignore the trolls, because no-one will stop them from abusing others.

Thanks Shania small read but right to the point. Only hoped that Dean's blog link was still functionable.

Deano's blog was functional on the 11th when I first found it. By later that day, it was gone when I tried to reach it. I suspect perhaps that there's a connection between that article coming out and his blog being gone. Perhaps some "power" at Journey management contacted him or their attorneys did. I'm sure Journey wouldn't want that link to be live with that article online. But I'm just surmising.

Well I address them as they come JDouglee. And they just keep coming and they keep misquoting me. It's not like they do it all in one short time period and I get to read them all at once. They do it over and over and over all night long sometimes with gaps of a couple of hours in between. So, I've often responded to one long before another one hits. I'm truly sorry this seems to have bothered you. You seem like a very nice person and I've enjoyed several of your comments a great deal. But honestly, this isn't me starting this or continuing it. I'm just the one being picked on. Maybe they just pick on all new people and so, it's my turn. I don't know. Thanks for taking the time to make a suggestion though. I appreciate your candor.

Please read what I'm about to say and maybe you'll understand a little more. The reason I've been telling people who appear to be doing what whocares and nolippin have been doing to me for the last 2 days to contact Andrew is that no matter what else I say to them, they just keep doing it. And as far as I know, only the moderators can ask someone to leave. It's not that these people don't agree with me Moon Beam. They just keep misquoting me. I answer something on another thread that is completely benign and has nothing to do with Steve Augeri and they come up with some reference to me whining about the fact that JSS is the lead singer and Augeri's gone. I never even said that. What I said was that I went to the concert not knowing a thing and being very upset to find Augeri wasn't there. And I said I didn't like JSS that night. I've also said that's my opinion and I'm just one person. And I've told others that I hope they do like JSS and it seems many do. But it doesn't really matter what I say, these 2 people continually bring up a misquote. I mean, I could be responding to a thread about the colour of the sky and they'll bring it up. It has nothing to do with someone disagreeing with me at all. Lots of people have disagreed with my feelings about JSS. I haven't told them to contact Andrew!

Hence, when you came at me with a nasty post telling me to "f" off and calling me a "suck ass" and telling me the concensus is that I should leave the forum, I just decided rather than respond to you directly, I would respond the same way. I intend to say that to anyone else who tells me to leave. I'm very sorry if you don't like that. But I'm not going to participate in this stupid game of having them misquote me every time they see my name in a thread and then continue to insult me and tell me to leave the forum. If they really want me gone from the forum, they can contact Andrew and ask him to remove me or ask me to leave. Otherwise, I'm not going anywhere.

It's lovely of you to apologize and shows what a wonderful character you have. I very much appreciate it and I'm very grateful for it. I know it takes a lot to apologize. And I understand completely why you reacted as you did.

But I've been thinking and I've had enough. I'm going to let the suckers that hate me win. I've met some truly cool people here, like yourself, but I've been picked on enough. I think I will get back to my regulary scheduled programming: life. I'm really sick anyway and I've just had a couple of fairly okay days in a row. I didn't want to get too excited about them because they usually don't last. But maybe I'll have more. All this negativity isn't good for anyone. This should make those who want me gone very happy.
