I've always thought those "metal" guitars, i.e. flying v's and the like, made it look like the guitarist is trying too hard to look cool. If you are playing guitar and you're good, you ARE cool. Just not my style.

For playing purposes, I agree, it does'nt matter, sound is the most important, but just to look at it's cool! :wink:
