Maybe I do take your word as truth, maybe that's why I'm asking you to let me in on the big "Augeri is Satan and JSS is God" club secret. I want to be happy with JSS, but I can't unless I see what everyone else seems to be seeing. It blows my mind how no one on this board seems to dislike the rest of the band for going along with tapes, or at least not enough to make a stand about it. You're all ready to spend hundreds more dollars on them after what they ALL pulled and I want to know why.

I don't like Azoff. Just because I hope they didn't fuck Augeri as bad as it looks doesn't mean I like Irving Azoff and his "management" of Journey.

The fact that a singer, wants to take the money, for not really singing, is sickening. If you all want Augeri to be free of blame, perhaps your "classy guy" should have exemplified a little of that class, and been a stand up guy and either said "no" or stepped down when he could no longer do his job.

What would you all think if Neal played his axe in concert, and there were tapes being played instead? You as I, would slay him, and deservedly so. There are some people who have conviction...Jeff would Never lip, mime or whatever you want to call it Fraudgeri did....Perry wouldn't either.

So are you saying that it was Augeri's idea to lip? This is the kind of thing I want to know about if it happened! Instead of passively watching everyone hate Augeri I want to know why they hate him besides the fact that he didn't say no. That to me wasn't enough to say "good riddance" and forget about him. Also I never use the word "classy" to describe anyone in Journey, but I also had never heard a bad thing about Steve A before tapegate and I found the whole thing pretty hard to believe because of that.

Sorry I said anything I have been a fan of JSS since I first saw him play. I like him as a performer and as a human being. I'm happy he got this gig. I did not believe Dean about the tapes. It took me quite awhile to even listen to the evidence and even then I fought it...... I believe now- w/o a doubt. But that is not what this is about, so carry on

Please explain to me why anyone should support your sad asses after you (Neal) made Augeri mime to audio that everyone and their mother had. Instead of handling the situation maturely and maybe getting him out of there early, it became a fucking circus. First off, what does Jeff have to do with any of this? I went to the MNG before the Indy show and didn't hate the band before that. It had nothing to do with how I felt about the band at the time. Jeff is just a nice guy.

As for Steve, he lipped the shows. He could have said no. The buck should have stopped with him. Whoever in the band knew about it and went along with it should get part of the blame as well. I don't know about you but I didn't see anyone pulling strings to make Augeri's mouth move to the lyrics. He was doing it willingly.
