Start From The Dark was AWESOME. I saw 7th Heaven open for them at the House Of Blues on that tour. Fantastic night of music...though 7th Heaven was clearly better.

Wait a sec, fucker :P I saw Europe back in 04 (Start From The Dark Tour) in Chicago(HOB) and Cleveland, (HOB also),,, so you were there!??? Thanks for sayin HI! 8) :D and now that you mention it, I DO remember 7th Heaven! DOH!
 8)

There was also a band called Slick that played too. 7th Heaven had their old singer. Dude tore it up that night. Place loved them.

You got that right!! I remember Europe sound tech, Pontus Norgren (Ex Talisman), said he was impressed with the "local boyz".....

It was really a great night of music. I went because of Europe and left a huge 7th Heaven fan. For the money, it was WELL worth it. Europe did a nice job. They're much heavier live.

Speakin of Europe, thats one band that should be added to the list of MR FEST 2009 :)

Ok, you start raising their fee and costs and they'll be there. I figure about US$30k should cover it!

Nah, I've been treated ok by the band over the years, no complaints here. I don't agree with too many of their own business/personnel/career decisions though!

Beshad, blow me. First off, Europe sucks. They have TWO, count em, TWO fucking notable songs, and one of them wouldn't be shit without Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls playing it for introductions. Carrie sucks ass too. Figures you would want an All Star Aqua Net Band. For anyone, anyone to want Europe added to MR Fest 2008, 2009 or 2013 whatever, is ridiculous.

Also, you just fucked up calling BA out. I love how you try to use the same argument as I did to you, except BA has a bit more than 2 recognizable songs. He has as many if not more than Journey and about 30 more recognizable tunes than Europe.

You are right about one thing though. I don't give two shits about Europe. Why the fuck would I? They suck assmilk.

I'm neither here nor there with the early stuff and especially THAT song....but then the last two albums have been rather great and both John Norum and Joey Tempest's solo work outshines that of Europe (IMHO)

I actually LOVE the Start from the Dark album and it's better than the newer Secret Society cd. I'm jealous you got to see them live! I don't know if they will ever tour the Secret Society album here. People here are just too closed minded and radio sucks. That's why we don't hear ANY of the good melodic rockers on the radio anymore when they have great new songs to give us.

For sure Wildone. People here think I didn't know I was being talked about in Indiana. How stupid you all think I am? I know what was said and by whom. It's no secret. No big deal. I am over it anyways. I know who my friends are on here, and their great.

You were talked about in Fort Worth too. We even tried to call you. There wasn't a bad word spoken of you there btw.

Don't take it as gospel Dean. That has to be one of the biggest asshole comments I've ever seen posted here. I'm hopeful he's drunk typing otherwise Beshad just lost major respect points in my book.

I'm pretty sure personal attacks were being flung from both sides of this argument. I personally don't remember anyone talking anything about Dean that weekend, so maybe Behshad went too far with that comment, but I think Dean said some pretty nasty things to Behshad too, so why single him out?

Well, I don't even know Dean personally, just from when he's posted on here and I can say that I don't despise him AT ALL. I don't always agree with him, but he states his opinion and I enjoy reading his posts. He cracks me up, actually. I hope to be able to meet up with him and all of you guys in 09.

I inquired about BA playing a private gig.

If on tour, in the US or Canada, and he had to be pulled on a day off, the fee was over 600K. If off tour, in the US/CAN, it is 225K. Go suck some cocks for cash Beshad, you're gonna need it for BA, but then again, he plays crappy rock music  so why bother?

And by the way fucker, BA is as melodic as it gets.

Let's not make this about me. Beshad brought it up and I unfortunately responded. Hell, I have forgotten the title of this thread..we have turned right about 67 times. Fuck me, I am not worth talking about, even though Beshad thinks so.
