Impossible. Look at any shot of the band over the past 2-3 years. Almost all of them have some variety of height game/singer marginalization going on.

There's nothing 'convenient' about the crop here. Arnel is clearly shorter than the rest of the band. And Journey clearly has no problem with this photo being taken or made public.
