Bash it all you want, but I guarantee 99% of you would have a heart attack before the culmination of the first half. The best athletes in the world are soccer, track and field, hockey, and tennis players.

There are a lot of basketball and football players (not the fat guys) that are better all-around athletes than any soccer player. Most of the competitions I've seen between athletes of various sports are typically dominated by American football players.

I understand where you're coming from. That said, you also have to understand where at least a few of these "Bible thumpers" are coming from too. These kind of people have a lot of love for their fellow man, even and especially strangers and their own enemies, because they want everyone to come to know the happiness and security they have. They may pester you and bother you, but that's not their intention and they don't see it as such.

It's okay to turn away their offers and such, but I've learned that alot of Christians don't deserve the kind of jeering that some may send their way, both online and in real life. Just think for a minute before you say something a bit harsh to someone like that, and try to give them the same kindness (even in refusal) that they're trying to give you.
