Maybe they canceled because there was a date conflict with the Foreigner dates since those are in late November.

The relationship between Steve Augeri and his old bandmates is just fine. Steve Augeri gave everything he had. I respect that.

Somehow this story has zero ring of truth to it! Fuck, Neal went out of his way to talk about how inept Augeri was (Without mentioning his name) outside of the ,with his "Pro-Tools" comment! I just can't see Schon ever asking Augeri to come back in the band! The dude left the band because he was faking it up on stage! What would be the point of bringing that back?

After they canned JSS, Neal was so scared he wouldn't find anybody that he would have re-hired Augeri and bought him a BIGGER microphone to hide behind. One way or another, Neal was taking Journey on the road.

I don't believe that never happened. I could be wrong, but based on everything I heard - including from management after the Soto sacking, that doesn't make sense. That Steve is still on ok terms with the band, I accept that part though.
