Add Sammy Hagar and it will be like old times. They can all come out at the end and sing LTS together.

He was only there via webcam, but he did say that the 2 leading candidates to tour with Journey next year are....................Santana or Queen. He also indicated that they'd probably only do about 30 shows in the U.S. He also indicated the desire to do a fairly large AP Foundation event in Las Vegas and that he would be there.

Well, if the December 2nd entry from Kiss news has any truth to it - it's not going to be Queen.

http://www.kissnews.de/NewsUSA.htm

It says Queen has split with Paul Rodgers and all 2009 dates have been canceled. But it also said the 2009 Queen tour was supposed to be with Kiss.

I never thought Journey and Queen would tour together.

If this is the case, it's time for Brian May to put his money where his mouth is and select Soto to front the band.

Brian May says they're taking a break since they just finished touring. They haven't talked about future plans and he doesn't know where this rumor came from.

triumph would be a great choice not big enough to tour on thier own, but a big enough draw to add to the journey crowd.
and although i dont want a triple bill how about lita ford for some eye candy and bring in some of the metal heads.

if not maybe a journey michael bolton pairing might bring in some of the older crowd.

If Neal agrees to that, he needs to turn in his man card. Nothing against Bolton, but that is a far cry from them trying to get the Scorpions on board last tour.

Santana, Journey and ROLIE would be my vote... 40 years of Santana from woodstock, 30 years since Evolution... ooooh.... thanks for the news SJ. Gregg would kick on Black Magic Woman and Evil Ways... and Feeling that Way/Anytime and Just the Same Way....

trouble is no one will be able to afford any tickets if people keep losing their jobs.

Several years back, I worked on air for a radio station in Illinois and interviewed Michael Bolton when he was at the state fair..this was actually during his most popular time. Complete A-HOLE. I asked him an on-air question about what the experience was like to team up with NS and JC on the Dock of the Bay remake. He basically relegated them to studio musicians, and said he wanted to stick to talking about HIS music. That was just one of his idiotic comments. At the time, I believe Bad English's WISYS was at the top of the charts. Dumbass.

I saw the prick on Oprah or one of the talk shows YEARS ago, and when he was asked about how he became a singer, he looked at her just like this  and said in an asshole tone "I'm not a singer...I'm an ARTIST!" Give me a fucking break! after I saw that interview, I haven't bought another damn album with his name on it.

I know personalities don't make their voices any different but after seeing what an egotistical asshole he is...I'm not supporting him on MY dime. I hope his dumb-ass has to go back to singing in bars to make a living!

Initially, he almost denied the interview because 'he only did interviews with Top 25 media markets', which I knew was complete bullshit. I told his manager 'you are playing a state fair. You can take the promo or not, but the fact that you are playing at said state fair tells me that your success is not just built on the Top 25 markets." He agreed to do 5 minutes, which I stretched to 15. I hate him.

He was right about one thing, he's no singer. He sings like he's had a rusty lamp post shoved up his ass.

I'll give him his kudos as a writer, but that's where his career should start and end.

Most of his hits were written by Diane Warren or covers. Hate was probably too strong. I just don't like being treated like a second class citizen from a guy on a tour bus that needs hair plugs...really badly! :P
