Neither would I, dude.

Yak I am just curious if you have kids and if so, did you get them their childhood vaccines?

It's really quite simple. Like with most things in medicine. There are risks. There are risks every single time you go under anesthesia, or have surgery, or side effects from most medications. Most everything in medicine comes with risks.

All anyone can do is weigh the risks vs. the benefits and then decide what course of action you want to take.

For the redord I do NOT think anyone should be forced to take this vaccine. And I certainly don't hold any anger or think less of anyone that decides they do not want it. And I surely would never be arrogant enough to think that my opinion is anymore right than anyone else's.

That's the thing, all these people towing the "party line" (i don't mean that politically here, just figuratively) and saying that we all somehow have a duty to immunize ourselves so that others don't get it or making backhanded insinuations that individuals who don't vaccinate themselves/their children are somehow "bad people" or negligent really pisses me and others off. My body, I'll decide what i want to put in it regardless of how safe it is or how tested it is or how unsafe it is or how untested it is.

Flu shots are dumb. They are collectively killing our ability to fight this virus the old fashioned way...and at the same time contributing to increasingly serious strains of the virus.

You could do alot worse than NOT getting these fucking things injected into your body...

Again....your opinion.

Do you also think that MMR, Dtap and the other childhood vaccines are dumb too and killing our ability to fight off those diseases?

You are wrong about flu shots contributing to the increasingly serious strain of the virus. Overuse of antibiotics and not taking them correctly is what has lead to these mutated viruses. Period.

Kelly, there's more than enough supported evidence out there to support me here. While I agree with you that the overuse of antibiotics is a contributor here, you can't categorically claim it's the only reason.

I don't think that childhood vaccines are dumb....but I do think repeated vaccination against influenza, which mutates every year and requires yearly revaccination...is fucking idiotic. Especially since the majority of the public out there doesn't need a vaccination to fight it.

If one could support that the use a one time vaccination will have a profound benefit for children fighting a life-threatening viral danger...then I'm all for it. But yearly flu-shots are playing with fire....no differently than haphazzardly taking different strengths of antibiotics.....

Once you add in the fact that this current flu shot has been rushed into production with tests coming in showing serious side-effects...well, it's a no brainer.

Seriously, I would do a little research before you unknowingly shoot up your kids with this crap....

I find it ironic and quite telling that some of the same public officials that are headed down the road of 'requiring' a flu shot....are the same people that are pro-abortion because of the flacid defense of "choice"

"Your safety" has really become the underhanded way for public officials to undermine out civil liberties. Whether it's the threat of terrorism or the threat of pig flu...doesn't matter. People are being compelled to give up their freedoms because someone at the government level stated that it's for 'their own good'.....

I used to say "I wish people in this country would wake up before it's too late".....sadly, at this point, it's too late...

That's the exact bent I was hoping people would see in my post, thanks for pointing that out.

Granted, we haven't seen YoMama come out on TV and make it a requirement to have the shot....but if this pig flu shite gets any more rediculous, I wouldn't put it past that mother fucker...
