Pineda said he has credits on two songs; one he wrote with his brother and one written with Neal.

Kansas Joins Night Ranger and Journey in Germany.

Wow, so far that's REO, Styx, Foreigner, Night Ranger and now Kansas hanging with the J-Boyz this tour.

Shit being the operative word here.
In 2009, Journey was the darling of the festivals as they were really the only AOR act at most of those shows. This year, Azoff is making sure ALL of his weaker acts get some of the cake too.

This formula has never been introduced in Europe so I'm ok with this. If they throw another re-wrapped package at us in the U.S I'm gonna probably have to catch a show or two and call it a day. Get the Scorpions and Europe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope it's Journey/Kansas for the U.S.

I saw Kansas with Foreigner and Styx last year and their set couldn't end fast enough. Good effort, but no one seemed to even acknowledge they were playing. They would bring 1,000 people max per show. They would be a total waste of space on any Journey bill.

Unless things change, Kansas will be the opener in front of Heart and Leppard this summer.

I think it would be fine if it was just Journey/Kansas. The third band on any bill can be a waste of space. More so in Los Angeles. People can't get to the show on time.

Okay, I just read something at the Leppard forum about Kansas backing out of it. Sounds like they don't want to do any package tour this year, just do their own thing.
So, Def Leppard with Heart and TBA for the moment.

They don't like doing package tours. If the money is right they'll do it, but they normally try to stay away from them. They are perfectly happy playing clubs and casinos. They seem to be really happy doing the college symphony shows.

No surprise there. They played at least 3 new songs at every show during Arnel's first two tours as the new singer. Great to see that they're continuing to do that.

I still think they need to do a small theater show and blaze through the entire new album and/or have a listening party. 500 fans in an intimate setting. Play the entire album and then come out for a rocking 3 song encore. Separate Ways, Ask The Lonely and The Party's Over (Hopelessly In Love). 8)

If Kevin Shirley, Jon Cain and Neal all say it's a generally rocking album, I believe them.

Obviously ALL hindu inspired music sounds exactly like this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xy3U9ihJo4o

Therefore the new Journey album will be exactly like this. I bet they basically stole this track and pasted a Neal solo over it and called it a day.

I smell a hit.
