Opinion is one thing. Attacking someone after one post is another. That's why a lot of people don't hang around very long.

Sound checks, rehearsing new songs, load ins, load outs, jam sessions, under the lights, behind the curtains you name it I've been there. Just a fly on the wall, and no affiliation to Azoff Music implied. Can you say that?

Go ahead dudes take your personal shots. Boost that self esteeem, seems it's needed. Whoever you are it don't have to wait till wait till Red Rocks if you want to climb on the magic CD and spin all the way down to Georgia. Bring your lunch, and whatever pacifier you choose.

Proof? Of what? I need no proof other than what I've seen and heard for myself. Getting anything from has beens, jag offs, and never was,' is a total waste of valuable time. So is sitting there taking pot shots at someone you do not know about something you know nothing about.

Pit's all you need, it's surname since birth yet I've I've answered to much worse from mindless twits who weren't hiding behind a computer. Fresh air would do you good. Maybe voice lessons can fill your time better. A hearing test? Try that. Eye test? Read this outloud. I A M A I D I O T.

Newbie? Pit is an invader, sent by Lord Irving, to infiltrate MelodicRock operations and seize discussions of the Situation room. The response for this new BT insect was just and fair.

Say Laurie, isn't there a setlist or some stupid assed article to post in the Twigs board? This board is doing just fine without you folk.

Remember, we stay out of your board you stay out of ours.

O-M-G, this isn't YOUR board Dean, I can post anywhere I want to.

I'm not in the mood to argue with you on here, you know I'm always right so it will be a losing battle -LOL I'M JUST KIDDING!

Thanks for reminding me, I do have another article to post on the Styx board

I feel bad for the people, the fans of Journey that enjoy coming to this forum but are afraid to post, even if it's their favorite song or album. I do have Journey friends - LOL There are a lot of great discussions on here from time to time.

I'm on a couple other music boards and boy this one is the talk of the internet.

Deano, I know we called a truce, but you are really out of control on this thing. Andrew even told you to back off.

Pit may be an "Invader" but you are definitely "Darth Moron". Drop it already and let the story play out on it's own. The truth always finds a way.

Go ahead say something stupid and deragatory about me now. If this is how you get your kicks go for it. :(

Hey 2001, I can't drop it now...come to far for that. No, you aren't a moron at all. I actually am starting to respect you.

Can't let it die. I won't push it as hard, but trust me, I have plenty, plenty more info in the tank.

BTW I listened to the Higher Place tracks, how could I not. Funny there is mention of the "hiccup" at oh I forget what #, but no mention of the "hiccups" at .42 and .57 where even the tone of the instruments changes. :?:

I will stand by my opinion of this because I heard my share of bad notes from Augeri last tour. And they hurt.

But again, just let it play itself out. If it dies, let it die on it's own, not because you went so out of control that it was shut down. Here me?!?!?!?

"I A M A I D I O T" - thanks for spelling out your name.
Listen, this is a message board. You are on the I N T E R N E T(See that?)You have to stay behind a computer screen cuz there is NO other way.You do the same thing and if you say you are the beholder of the truth and know Journey up close and personal...welllll,why should anyone believe you?I could say I am friends with Journey's friends, hell, better make it with the guys themselves! :P I could come here pretending that I know Stevie didn't have pneumonia and when people ask me how do I know that I say "Trust me,I know this for sure." Anyone could come here and say they've been with Journey backstage,in the studio, under the mixer and so forth...Really?Ok,and I had breakfast with Spielberg this morning, but I can't tell you what he is working on.You have to trust me.He is working.
On the other hand, there is a guy here,Rockndeano, who said he knows what Journey is doing throughtout their shows. He was asked to tell us what he knows and he did.He brought proof.A lot of people believed him,but not because he said so,but because the proof is valid.I'm guessing that some people won't admit the truth on the Forum even after they heard the proof because they are scared to do so.
If you felt you were *attacked* it's because your speech is shallow.
You are the one hiding behind your computer.

I said I feel Augeri may have needed some help on various phrasings at intermittent times during last year. Not all the time or even close. And I don't mind the few times it may have happened one little bit. Why can't you get that through that Sequoia stump sitting atop your shoulders?

We DO know that the reason for all the other vocalists, and the jams, was to aid Steve in getting through a 3 1/2 hour show. We DO know that there is some help based on 3 clips from Steve singing Ask The Lonely. We DO know that Deen was a big help until he ALSO had voice problems.

But none of this adds up to "entire" shows being lip-synched.

Has Steve's voice suffered? Yes. Is it possible that he can recover? I think so, but will reserve opinion until I actually hear him on this tour (if I get to the show). Did the band handle Steve's health issues properly? No. Is it possible that they are pushing Steve too hard? Yes.

Will Perry be back? I HIGHLY doubt it!

Oh my goodness. I can't believe I'm here. Dave, you are treading in waters you know nothing about. No need for pretension. Pneumonia was not the problem, It was much more serious, and you have no business speaking of which you do not know

Hey Pit, have you read any of my other posts?
Maybe you should before you speak up, it helps to be informed before you open your mouth.
If you had read my other posts you will see that I firmly believe that the Pneumonia story was just the PR version and that the truth IS much more serious.

Pit wrote:especially considering what the Augeri & Cirillo fanilies have been through of late.

Have I in any way attacked or harmed the Augeri family? NO! In fact I have even dropped them a couple emails to pass on my well-wishes. I greatly respect both Steve AND Lydia.

Pit wrote:I'll be at red rocks if you have a problem with what I'm saying.

I have no problem with what you are saying that I cannot handle here. However, if you had read my posts (even the one you quoted) you would see that I am probably not going to make it to the show this year. Now, if you are willing to hook me and my wife up with TIX and passes to hang with you in the press area, I will gladly take you up on it. If you were threatening me, then by all means send me the ticket. This is words...but if you want to be an internet bully I will gladly go face to face with you.

Pit wrote:[I can assure all of you that Steve Augeri would retire before he stooped to the level of todays nymphette chicklets.

Many of us agree that this is out of character for Steve. That is a big reason why there has been such adamant discussions. But we are also not blind to the realities that Neal and Jon wield a lot of power and Steve could find himself not wanting to rock the boat. As yet another example of how uniformed you are, you would have known that many of us believe that the "lip-synching" was probably minimal and temporary.

Pit wrote: I've photographed Journey from every angle including under the drum riser, and there is just no way what you are alledging has happened, I don't care who says what.

Like someone else asked, How does a photo tell you that. I am certainly glad you have witnessed Journey shows "up close and personal" which is more than most of us can say, but have you listened to Deano's "evidence"? Or are you simply defending Steve because of YOUR position?

Pit wrote:[Steve Augeri is of the highest of character,

I believe so as well. But he is not perfect.

Pit wrote: Andrew, I can't believe you didn't stop this nonsense 4 pages back.

Since you are new here, you probably don't realize that Andrew allows freedom of speech. And this forum does not work the same way as BT where you must always watch what you say.

The Beacon. WOW!!

I am sitting here in amazement.

This show is one of the finest I have ever heard!

Man, I remain blown away. Anybody got this?

Wow.

I cannot help myself. The musicianship is great as usual. You're right 13, Mr. Awesome is fantastic. All live

Look, I am done with this. I promised someone I would give it up, but I am not going out with at least saying this much. Andrew please shit can my membership, delete my account, I don't give a shit, about this piece of crap band and here's why.

13 came on and spun his story and said the Beacon was all live, blah blah blah.

Well, I synched up the Beacon with Las Vegas 2001. Here are the results

Separate ways
Escape
Faithfully
DSB
Ask the Lonely
Anyway You Want It
Stone in Love
Be Good to Yourself

These beauties are lipped straight off the CD.-

The Place in Your Heart
Faith in the Heartland-most of-(there are some parts he tries to sing).

All identical. 100% totally Lead vocals Lipsynched...Not the slightest hint of reality. The exception, the last 20 seconds or so of each song, and then he tries to hold a long ending note, and Elson just turns off his mic..Smart guy. Fraudgeri is standing there straining to sing, and nothing is coming out...Too comical. I wonder if Kevin gets a bonus? He is good at this.

Add to this the gigantic fuzzy microphone to hide the mouthing, and the fact that a demanding note on songs like SW, his larynx isn't even visible; calm neck muscles.

Hey, I can almost live with that, however, seeing Mr. Awesome up there getting all emotional in Faithfully and trying to really put on the winced strain during a lipping clinic of Escape and DSB, I almost puked. he is dancing around, straining and I am laughing at him...well, actually no, I just get more pissed that they feel they can get away with this (and they will/are). Journey used to be class and excellence, with Perry and also with Augeri up until 2005. They are pure shit, a total embarrassment.

There should be a law against this brutal facade and lack of morality.

[Edited by Andrew....unneccesary abuse...]

I am in on your little secret. I know many here have sided with me, not for arguments' sake, but for ethics sake. This isn't about if I'm right or not, because I am 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt correct.

Why won't Journey Mgt come dispell this "theory" of mine? I am curious to know why. Why won't Neal tell Andrew I am full of shit? I know why. Because they can't.

This is my last post on the subject, because of a promise I made to someone.

I used to get sick of the fakery. Now I see him up there dancing and patting his chest, just makes even more pissed that I paid this piece of dung 10 cents. Augeri, you are the most despicable human in music history for pulling this shit. People, don't fall for his good guy crap and morality. Feel free to refute me. And if it wasn't your idea, you should have the balls to quit on your own terms. Maybe this isn't your idea, but you went along with it. You may be nothing more than driving the bank robbers around, but you are the driver.

Go watch this travesty. Absolutely appalling. Bring a vomit bucket.

Feel free to PM me anyone. Andrew will obviously lockit...although IMO, should stay open. the topic is in fact VALID.

I hope some reporters, newscast, someone with the power of the press can get this shit public. They don't deserve to go to the Hall of Fame after this crap.

I can't wait for the PM's.
Especially Baby Craig and his little followers.
