I have no idea who Siobahn was/is, but I do get the impression she was getting railroaded out of here for being an Augeri supporter. I'm starting to get the same feeling, sad to say. I am a long-time fan of this site and it's been my first daily stop for as long as I can remember. I never joined the discussions until the tapegate thing broke.

However, it does seem that you are entitled to your opinion as long as it's pro-Perry or JSS. If you try and defend Steve Augeri, you're told there are other places to talk about "your Stevie" and to not let the door hit you on the way out.

Until a few weeks ago that statement would have read "as long as it's pro-Augeri". It was open season on Perryloons as we were so affectionately called. I don't think the board is down on Augeri, it's just leaning more heavily towards JSS right now.

Agreed 100%. I felt she was only trying to defend herself, although it did get rather tiring after a while. A lot of negative comments have been made about us newbies, but nothing about how harshly we've been treated by the veterans. For crying out loud, Deano hit me with some pretty good verbal abuse in response to my first ever two posts to the board-things that I haven't seen tolerated at most other sites. I have the utmost respect for Andrew and appreciate his work and dedication to this site, and ultimately it's his decision to remove someone. That being said, I've seen some veterans of these boards do a lot worse than what Siobahn was removed for. I know because I was on the receiving end.

At opening night in Camden some of these types were trying to give roses to Augeri. My brother (drunk of course) proceeded to tell one that he (S.A.) would never even look at her because she didn't have enough roses to cover her cellulite. (real charmer that brother of mine)

Why can't people just let sleeping dogs lie?? Why constantly reference him, his hints of further dirt on the band, the fact that his blog is gone and has been gone for days, asking where is he, what happened to him????

Do you not understand that it is those constant references and the continued "poking at a snake with a stick" that some of us view as troll behavior?? Baiting??? Looking for trouble where there is none??? This board had calmed down and intelligent discussions were being had by most here until some decided that they did not like the pro JSS nature of the discussions, and IMO, that has been the problem the last few days.

Maybe some of us are just excited about a new energy in a band we have followed for 30 years. The dissent seems to me to be coming from the "Augeri-onlies" who are sounding exactly like the Perry-onlies sounded 8 years ago!!! Let it go!!! Move on!!! JSS is the lead singer for Journey now and this is a Journey board!!! Get over it!!!

When i came back to the board, I specifically didnt' get involved, because I saw what was going on. typical baiting by a troll. I've wondered where he is as well and I never said I wanted him gone. Anyway, if this other person really wasn't banned then I stand corrected.

My point was that some of Rockn'deano's posts were just as bad or even way more vile in some respects than this other person. I don't personally want to see either gone. This board at least has some characters around and that's what makes it interesting.
