For all my silly joking around, I wanted to let you girls know you will ALL look very beautiful in those dresses, and I can't wait to see everyone next week! I'm feeling this experience is going to rival Vegas, and probably will exceed it, and is for a great cause as well!

Last week I went to get gas at a convenience store, and the lady at the counter asked if I'd like to donate for breast cancer --- I did, and signed my name "Rip Rokken" on the little pink ribbon tag they hang up on the wall.

What I can do is take you to where I got them.

Incidentally... whichever of you fine ladies said to freeze bags of water in the shoes to stretch them... (I forgot to look back at who said it)... please know that I took that advice and I'm freezing my shoes at this very moment. They're patent leather, which of course is much stiffer, so I'm not sure it will work, but its worth a shot. :lol:

I have two dresses that I can't choose between. Boring (yet nice!) black or colorful floral.
Colorful floral will require a shoe and probably handbag purchase though. :lol:

On a lark, I went out and bought a new suit today that I actually loved -- but ended up taking it back thinking it wasn't just the right one... My suit is fine, and has only been worn twice (a funeral and a wedding -- bought it for the funeral). I just want a new one... Going back out tomorrow to look again. I'm such an impulse shopper.

That's awesome to hear it worked; it was me with the freezer advice. Don't know where I read it or why I remembered it. Link roller brain--picks up all sorts of useless (and occassionally useful) shit.
