I believe siobhan222 might be Joe Reardon, somehow gainign access thru a fresh IP.

At any rate, they are a major troll and have been erradicated.

Actually, it seems it was a first time poster and a gal, but I have removed her account at her request. Not a great debut by any means.

I didn't realize until just now that Siobhan has been baned.

I don't know who Siobhan is, but she made some posts on the Survivor board that were clearly about music and NOT to cause any problems, and she sent me a couple of PM's that were very friendly.

There are many trolls on this site but she definitely did NOT seem like one to me!!!

I have not read every post that she made or that everyone made toward her, but from what I have seen she was being picked on!

As I've said before I'm actually a bigger Perry fan than I am of Augeri, but it is pretty darn clear that if you openly support Steve Augeri on here anymore you will be bashed for it.

Just yet more injustice on here as of late!

For the record out of Steve Perry, Steve Augeri and Jeff Scott Soto my order for how much I like their singing goes...

#1 Steve Perry
#2 Steve Augeri
#3 Jeff Scott Soto

If I was convinced that Perry can still sound at least as good as he did on Trial By Fire then he would be my first choice to take over again as Journey's lead singer.

If Steve Augeri can recover well enough and soon enough then he would be my second choice to return to Journey.

I like Jeff Scott Soto's singing a lot too, he's really good. Soto sounds a heck of a lot like Steve Perry on the Soul SirkUS song "Coming Home."

If Soto can help move Journey into an even more hard Rocking direction and can still retain a sound that is fitting of a Journey singer then I will be very happy with him!!!

In addition to being a great singer I met Soto once and he seems like he's really great with his fans too.

To me Jeff Scott Soto is kind of like Roger More or Pierce Brosnan.
What I mean by that is this...

Sean Connery was the original James Bond and he was viewed as the perfect Bond by tons of people. Then when Sean Connery left he was replaced by an actor named George Lazenby, Lazenby got a really bad rap because people were mad that Connery wasn't still Bond, so they took it out on Lazenby.

So Lazenby was then replaced by Roger Moore and everyone was happy.

Then when the popular Roger Moore left he was replaced by Tim Dalton who got the same bad rap as Lazenby because of the fact that he wasn't Roger Moore.

Then Dalton was replaced by Pierce Brosnan and everybody was happy again.

Steve perry was worshiped by so many people, so when he was replaced by Steve Augeri Augeri became the villian to so many Perry fans. So now that Augeri would appear to possibly be out for good (maybe) Soto will be viewed as the hero for replacing "that damn Steve Augeri."

With all due respect Andrew, I have to disagree with you. Your comment seems to imply that I have somehow presented my views in an offensive fashion. I feel that my posts have always been made with the utmost respect, and I think if you were to review them you would see that. I firmly believe in using good netiquette, and not saying anything to another person online that I wouldn't say to their face. Unfortunately, this has not been the case in return. Don't get me wrong-there a plenty of wonderful people here, and passionate fans all. But it has gotten very anti-Augeri around here. Given the circumstances and people's emotional connection to the band, I can understand. I'm not looking for everyone to agree with me. However, I don't think I should be berated and told to get lost or worse because I take a different position than the majority. I'm just here to discuss Journey, but I felt I had to point out that some long-time members of these boards are definitely given a lot of leeway in how they treat others, and there are several of us here that have been slammed by those folks. This isn't a very friendly place to be if you're anti-JSS (which I am not, incidentally. I'm a big fan) or pro-Augeri (which indeed I am).

Bring back the Blog? Not sure, but the door is open…..

The “other” shoe is about to drop. This shoe will be even bigger than the first shoe. I am going about it differently this time. This time, it will be done maturely, skillfully, yet forcefully.

Oh, great.

What can possibly be brought to light now? Maybe he will appear on stage and, in front of a shocked audience, pull a mask off of JSS to reveal that...it's really Steve Perry! Who will then scream as he's being led away from the stage "And I would've gotten away with it, if it weren't for you meddling kids!"

Sorry for anyone who might not get the Scooby-Doo reference...

True 'dat'. I'm an Augeri loon since the day I stepped into the joint and reamain so. Still waiting for my first holiday from the bossman (though that pm about his poor wifes eyesight marrying a guy with that hair may turn the trick). Oh and Pppsssssssttttt. to the conspiracy theorists: Andrew's an Augie fan, too.

I just caught up on this thread and have a major headache now. Glad I missed most of that

You are mis-understanding my words. Steve fans are MORe than welcome. End of point.

New point - regardless of who is posting, do so with respect. End of second point.
