It's NOT a cool way for a band to act. It's NOT a cool way for someone new to be introducted. It's not a cool thing for supposed fans like you to support.
Ok let me play devil's advocate for a second. Let's suppose Dean really knows the scoop (don't argue about Dean or how u feel about him-just take what he has told us as the gospel for 2 minutes then go back to regularly scheduled programming). Just look at this scenario & think about it.
We all know Augeri was having issues at the beginning of the Generations tour. He admitted that himself. So the band says "Steve please step down. Let us hire someone else so we can go on." Augeri doesn't want to step down & threatens to make contractual problems if they try to go on w/out him. Maybe this conversation happened before the Generations tour. Maybe it has been discussed for almost 2 years. Augeri held his ground & went to tape. His voice got worse but he still wouldnt step down. The band is livid w/him. But they want to go on touring. They wont be able to tour forever. Theyre getting old. They need to make hay while the sun shines. They cant just fire him bcoz they made him a partner (whether full or partial). What do they do now?
Bingo. Someone notices the tapes. The story builds & builds. Aha. Augeri has to step down. But the band has to pick up the pieces. In comes JSS-a guy who can sing live & quickly builds rapport w/fans.
Could this be what happened? We'll never know. But it's one way to look at it.
Ok u can return to regularly scheduled programming now.

Is that why there's such a frothy mix of cum and lube bubbling out of your ass?

So let me guess; that was the "articulate" part...Is that why there's such a frothy mix of cum and lube bubbling out of your ass?
...and that was the "cogent" bit.
Right?

Pebbles, go get your mop and bucket and clean out Ms Hucklebees bathroom in room 234. She just laid a wet shit all over the place. When you get done, change her linen and then sponge bath her. Do it now, Mop Boy!
And stay off the MR music board. You are defeated ala Napolean.

And you know exactly what I mean. Man...talk about having dirt on someone...BWAHAHA!!! What a loser...truth is, there's no need for anyone to pick on you...you're clearly your own worst enemy.

If any judge were idiotic enough to not throw the suit out the second he cracked the seal on it, Journey's defense attorney's first manuever would be to petition for dismissal and they'd get it. In record time.
Unless the plaintiffs would have something LEGITIMATE as evidence not soundclips of boots and wild allegations.

Just curious John, you spoke with numerous people who know Dean and his past? Care to share.... in a PM? I've had my reputation slammed because of my association with Dean and quite frankly the people that have participated in the slamming are hypocrites and full of shit. Aren't we as humans fallible and able to change? Most of us, if not all, have things in our pasts we are not exactly proud of. I'm so tired of people talking shit. At least you have the balls to speak your mind and don't back down when challenged.

No shit here folks, move along.
You know me, I can only take so much and the people who feel free to talk behind someone's back is so high school. Most of us are beyond that... I think.
nolippin wrote:Well, I understand the need to promote "Generations", but Augeri didn't really sing much of that on the tour, did he?? Given JSS's popularity in Europe, it seems the European Tour would have been the perfect time to can Augeri and bring in JSS.

I feel this is a common misperception.
People think once Perry was removed Neal got "the reins back" and resumed a great degree of control.
However, Neal and Jon never held the reins to begin with; Herbie Herbert did.
And in a similar fashion, their current management now call the shots.
I really don't think Neal has as much power as its made out to seem.

I guess we'll see just how much power Neal and Jon have once Deano's Azoff-firing prediction comes to pass. Personnally, I hope they do make a change. Whether you think they are all washed up or not, the RIGHT Management can go a long way in making this band very popular again and Azoff never really seemed to try.
