can you say google? :P jk

i'm sure phen will correct me if i'm off

but i understand it to be short for Berkshire hunt, which is cockney slang for (i.e. rhymes with:) a part of the female anatomy (for andrew, i'll leave it at that). (famous example of cockney : 'Apples and Pears'=stairs)

You sodding berk!

something like that

Ah-ha. Interesting. Those crazy Cockneys!

Strange - I spent three months in London a few years back and never came across the word berk. Hey, you learn something every day and all that.

yeah, don't think I've ever 'heard' berk, (heard "sodding c---" though) - just seen it on boards. big cockney rhyme fan... can't do it for crap, but love it

i imagine phen uses it every day, though :P

(ps did you love London?)

Since I'm not a Cockney, no I don't. :P But I use it a fair bit when I stay at my dad's, since he IS a Cockney. ^_^

i meant 'berk', but i think you mean cockney? - which, if so, is pretty cool

Argh... I'm confused. :P I use "berk" most days actually, yeah. "Ponce" is another word I use every day. I knew I left a word out of the list.

i shouldn't type while doing other things.

have a great weekend phen!

It's not like Cockney is a completely different language. XD But yeah, there's noy much point in using it other than with Cockneys. Then again, confusing people with is is always a laugh. You too! Enjoy the weekend.

haha, i bet. and it sure sounds like "a completely different language. "XD

Sigh....people are far too lazy to figure out dialects these days! It sickens me how much the world is being dumbed down.

Oh, very much! I wish could have stayed there for a lot longer. I was going to school at the time so I explored London during the week and travelled around on the weekends (spent different weekends in Edinburgh, Paris, Dublin, etc.). Great experience. I really want to get back across the pond someday! 8)

Yep, some people take their fetishes to extremes!! Kirk went so far as to hire a surgeon to take my kidney out of my body and put it into his! Wow, talk about an expensive (and painful) fetish!!!!!

Hey Phen, which songs are you considering doing next?

If you haven't done "If He Should Break Your Heart" or "Forever In Blue" yet, we'd love to hear them.

Not a request, I'm just throwing out some lesser knowns. If you have others in mind, let us know.

Cheers. :D

I have no idea what songs I'm gonna do next. Maybe a bit more of the Dan... ("Reelin' In the Years", "Kid Charlemagne"... stuff that everyone will know) or Fagen's version of "Ruby Baby". Perhaps something incredibly cheesy like "Footloose". Good ol' Loggins. I'll see what I'm in the mood for later on tonight.

Not a request? Sounds like one to me, pal. :P

BTW, nice new avatar pic. The PhenFly?

Ok, you caught me. Forever In Blue would be a good one to hear you on.

But "Reelin' In The Years" is a great song and a female voice would be a nice change.

Loggins? Eh, too poppy. I'd nix it unless you REALLY want to cover "Footloose"

If you gotta do Loggins, how bout somethin from the Messina era?

Considering Britain has been invaded so many times, the insanity from every other European country must have been passed on to us hundreds of years ago, or something.

Also, wait 'till you hear a Dorset accent. Classic Southern England farmer's accents. XD I love 'em.

There's nothing wrong with pop from the 50s till the 80s. The 90s essentially killed pop.

God, I can take the Forever In Blue hint. ¬_¬ Still not doing it though. Hehe. :) I choose the songs, thank you very much. Eh... I still don't know. I couldn't be bothered recording last night, I'm on the fence about tonight.
"Gimme Some Lovin'" by the Spencer Davis Group is a cracker. 16 year old Steve Winwood on lead vocals and keyboards! Fan-bloody-tastic. Maybe that will be tonight's choice. That, or "Reelin'", since I have some good signs for that one.

That was great, Phen! You sure do have a lot of fun doing these, don't you.
I've got to say, you look remarkably like a very good friend I had in highschool....and you also seem to be similar to her in personality. Unfortunitely, she was raped and murdered  so I will always see her as a young, vibrant, beautiful girl, so filled with hope and promise. She was only 17 when she was killed. That's why I said be a little careful out here, girl, and don't give out all your info. Love your artwork, I'm an artist too. Keep up the good work, your very talented. :)
