Getting pretty cocky there YoungJRNY ain't ya?

lol. Eh I wouldn't say Cocky, but the energy is in the air and Penguins hockey was not this buzzed up since the days of Jagr and Lemieux. Now that we got this generation of Lemieux/Jagr in Crosby/Malkin...it really is a pleasure to see these two go to work on a night to night basis. It truly is amazing the age of these kids going out there and putting on that kind of show in front of men is just amazing to me, and it takes alot to amaze me! haha

I was never a BIGBIG hockey fan, though I would always just follow the Pens and no else. The last couple years, I've enjoyed watching the Pens more and more, and it finally hit me to really expand my intelligence to the game of hockey. Football is my fortey'...but hockey could grow on you during the offseason.

I must add..I do have a whole new, and large amount of respect for hockey players, and the game itself. You really don't appreciate it until your right up there, center ice. These guys are animals, and truly are freakish athletes. The game is so fast paced that it is almost impossible to blink an eye just not to miss a thing. Very impressive. With that said..

It surely was Moonie! :D When it was 3-0 in the first 4 minutes, I thought that game was a goner, but my boys turned it around big time. I was on the edge of my seat, no wonder I can't watch any other sports.......nothing quite like the excitement of playoff hockey! :D

God, last night had some GREAT hockey!!!
Like YoungJRNY, I am from Pittsburgh and BLEED Black&Gold!!!
So I couldn't be happier today after the performance the
ENTIRE Pens team put on last night.
I know Ottawa is raped w/injuries but the pens just look
so dominant in every facet of the game. Their biggest question
marks goin into this was their goaltending and defense...
I think all critics have been silenced thus far :)

But how about that Colorado/Minnesota series?!?!?!?
5 Playoff games in row between them that have gone into
OT AND finished w/ 3-2 scores (The Wild winning 3 of them!)
That has got to be the most exciting series so far!!!

Let's Go Pens!!! Can you feel the "Sweep"???
Welcome to Terminus... You hungry?

Great game Flyers fans.

Congrats on the win Lady Lula, looked like a good one
from what I saw while channel flipping.

Deb I tried to stay up and offer support for
the Flames but a busy day here found me to tired
come game time.
I won't let it happen again lady.

Thanks Moonie. It looked like we were going to head back to San Jose 2 games up, but alas, the Sharks took it in the last 9 seconds. :( Series tied up again.

That clip is beyond center ice sweet Lady Lula, thanks for slappin it up.
My kid mimics everything Spiderman and that lil one reminded me of him.

Moose I'm never over confident when it comes to my Habs, more than once
I've seen em over cocky come playoff puck time.
I'll say my Stanley prayers and hope for the Lord of the ice to reign back home in Canada
when it's all through.

Carlitto and YoungJrny congrats on the sweep though it breaks my blood pumper to type it.
Great job, good luck in round two.

Too cute! Thanks Lu! He reminds me of my nephew (goalie too) when he was little. I used to love watching the little tykes play. So darn cute, when one falls they all fall and their uniforms always looked huge on them.

Wow, what a difference a year makes, eh? You've got to hand it to Ottawa, they gave it their all the past two games, but sadly for them they could not withstand the man power Pittsburgh withheld. It truly was a series of a David VS Gallioth.

We were just an all around better hockey team than the Sens.. they didn't have the right to play the same ice as us. They played into our game and got suckered into taking penalties and that played to the advantage of our brutal power play unit. They were doomed from the getgo.

Looks like it's going to be the Rangers ...or the ex- Penguins the next series. I'll admit, it could go either way, we should win it in the end, but it WILL be a slober knocker. Get your gear ready, it's going to be a dog fight from here on out.

P.S - FLUERY is playing like a complete beast of nature!

Dear God have the Canadiens folded like a cheap tent or what? Brutal.. just brutal.. Poor Price.. everyone is thinking he's the next Roy..

If Dallas loses tomorrow, I don't think they can rebound..

Not sure how to feel about the Minni/Colorado series.. But at least the Avs will be rested for whoever they take on next..

I guess we'll find out either monday or tuesday who the Avs are playing. Too many variables to think about at 3 am!
