Worse than grubs, worse then popped maggots (i.e. deep fried in oil so that it puffs up like pop corn), worse than fresh cow's blood tapped from the neck of a live cow (standard Masai beverage) But since you raised the subject . . .

Okay, technically it's not yet goat poop but that's only because it hasn't completed its journey (had to sneak in the band's name somehow) down the digestive tract and so a few more nutrients still needed to be extracted from it. But yeah, when you eat 'papait' (which means 'made bitter'), the reason it is so bitter and smelly is that you're basically eating, sorry dude, goat shit stew. Cooked and sterilized but still goat shit nonetheless.

Screw you aadivark :D

You got me so scared I had to call my dad about it.
That recipe you mentioned have been wrongly derived.

Funny, when you mentioned it and when I thought that it was true, it sorta' dawned on me that could be the reason why I always have this geedeyup feelin' to explore the female anatomy. I thought the 'information' that you gave me would be my excuse as 'side effects' of that brew to every woman I have been with on the reason why I am naturally unfaithful.

:D :D :D :D :D

Lucky you, you had the milder PG version of the recipe. Then again your dad was maybe just sparing you the torment? This is one of those uncertainties that you never want settled. Hell, you're still alive and apparently feisty as a goat, eh? No harm, no foul.

That's like the Hawaiians at work eating raw fish. They offered it to me, and I accepted. ONCE. I nearly threw up. The taste wasn't bad, but the texture was disgusting. I asked why they ate it raw, and they say that it's cooked by the juices it marinates in. Whatever. I prefer my fish battered and deep fried, thankyouverymuch.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Rick, that's called kinilaw in the Philippines.

Fresh, raw fish fillets are soaked in lime juice or vinegar, maybe herbs,
and it's ready to rock. Ice-cold beer is simply the best with it
(Same thing is done for lean pork, but I don't care for it.)

Hey, Italians have their carpaccio: if done with really tender beef, it rules.
They usually include a lime wedge to squeeze over the meat.
To be had with wine though.

:)

We have something like the kinalaw here in the East Coast Wech,
It's being served at Guapos Restaurant and they call it Cerviche de Pescado

Goes very well with beer plus the ambience ...
A lot of hot women ...
