Why does it matter to you how people live thier lives?? If they are morally wrong it is not for you to judge, but for God.

Holy fucking shit! I cannot believe I am reading this!!!!! FUCKING WOW! A conservative with a fucking brain. What a novel concept!

Actually I pretty socially liberal, it's not that I think it is right morally, but that it is not my place to judge, and less my place to tell someone how to live thier life. Judgement is God's perogative not mine, except in the case of CRIMES...people loving each other is not a crime.

You're a classy dude, Stu.

I agree... to those who feel its a sin or morally wrong, let god judge - sinning is his territory - and if you aren't god, then STFU.

He's classy because he agrees with you? Am I classy?

Really? I thought we were in the Middle East because we don't like what that part of the world is doing. We don't like their MORALS. Well, I guess we should pack up and ship out, and let 'god' sort all the shit out?

and guess what? They bombed the shit out of us because they don't like/are jealous of the way WE live.

So before we paint that broad stroke of letting people do whatever the fuck they want, we better step back and analyze the fucking consequences.

Regardless if you were talking about gays, firearms, pedophilia, or terrorism.

What do both sides in the above scenarios have in common? God, just two different versions of him.

I'm not sure why this has you so baffled. I've had CNN on in the background all day, and long lines at the polls has been the norm in most parts of the country!

The thing that baffles me is I have never had a problem and I live in a high turnout district, especially today. No problem.

Sure. But if you're going to reference it. Can the left stop trying to change it all the time.

They aren't trying to change it. They're trying to enforce it.

You make ZERO sense. The court changed it not the voters or legislature. Because of the courts, it is now an issue. The right is just defending the (old) status quo. Had the court not taken any action, nothing would need to be done. Hence the left is trying to change it.

Fuck you. Why don't you ask me to explain what wasn't clear about what I said instead of talking down to me.

Defending the old status quo? If, as I was led to believe by Lula's post, we're talking about the phrase all men are created equal... then what they're defending, according to you, is the lack of practicing that belief, because all people have not been and still aren't treated as if they were created equally in this country. That is what I meant by trying to enforce it. People like you are the reason why there is still so much inequality.

Dude...turn on the news. I honestly don't know why you're so confused by how long it's taking some people to vote. You do realize that they are predicting the largest turnout in over 100 years, right? Maybe they just give you Chicago fuckers preferential treatment at the polls

I know how opposed to anal you are, so it's time for you to pull your head out of your ass  How the hell is it that you're baffled that an election could be a "problem" in this country? Were you not around in 2000 when we had to wait weeks for the results, because of those dopes in Florida? The voting process in this country is just another example of how inept our government is. Private businesses are able to create gas pumps and ATM machines that take cards and don't fuck up, but nobody in the government is intelligent enough to run an election without drama! They need to figure out how to get machines that actually work or go back to crayons!

We're on the wrong page. What I'm saying is how fuckin' hard is it to vote. You're right the government is f'd up. But, the people are pretty stupid too. This is not that difficult. As messed up as 2000 was that was more of moronic voters than poor government. Bottom line, people are stupid.

Well, we don't disagree that people are fucking morons. That said, voting is only difficult because many locations with electronic voting machines are having malfunctions. Hence my point that it's inexcuseable that we can't find voting machines that actually work. There were several people who contacted CNN throughout the day to report that the electronic voting machine they used didn't count their vote and when CNN contacted the state, it was confirmed. This country REALLY needs to make voting less frustrating and more accurate! States not having voting machines ready to go for the election is every bit as fucking stupid as any dope who is still "undecided" 5 minutes before walking into the booth!

Paper ballot with marker for this guy.

Instead of early voting, would people being willing to make election day (every 4 years or possibly every two years) a holiday. This way no excuses, I had to work, etc. Maybe replace President's Day or Lincoln or Washington Birthday and make that Election Day or real President's Day.

Also, I am for a one size fits all voting procedure for the country. Paper ballots are a must.
