millions aren't Neal Schon. His Facebook and Myspace posts are for his fans.

Well one way to see if it is Neal really posting on any one of those two sites is if someone who can ask him a question on there, ask him if he knows someone by the name of Craig Carnal. Back when I was working at IBM in the mid to late 90's I had a co-worker there who was also a good personal friend of mine and he had pictures of him and Neal together and claimed they were friends. Craig used to be heavily involved in a lot of the goings on at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain view for years and years and claims that's where he and Neal met for the first time as I recalled the story went according to Craig. The really funny thing about it was, Craig looked so much like Neal does, they could have easily passed as being brothers or close relation.

So ask Neal if he remembers Craig and see if he does. That's one way to see if it's really Neal posting on there or just someone running a Neal informational networking site/forum.

We don't need to chase him down with your friend who claims he's a friend b/c he has a photo together. Maybe you should check your friend's credentials.

What's really funny is since I know the names of famous Japanese female singers, I type in their names in fb or myspace and two dozen accounts on each come up with the same names and matching pix of the real famous people. People outside Japan and who are not Japanese think that these people they are communicationg with are the people in the pix. Hilarious. I knew a guy who was in the military a few years back who set up an account like that on myspace and had American guys sending him money and gifts because he had them thinking he was the chick on the account. He'd pocket the money and either sell or give his own girl the gifts that were sent to him. His girl was happy cause she thought he was making all those purchases himself for her. Out of pocket.....not!

He drops an occasional line maybe once every few weeks re his mini tour or writing. It really takes a nanosecond out of his day.. You're right about one thing. I am right.

I saw on Arnel's site he came on the Shoutbox and said they had finished their first song as far as recording. That was like April 27, so I'm sure there's more done. He said they're looking to aim for releasing the CD the first of next year.

Caveman! Well, we're deep into the bowels of recording the new Journey record. Seven slamming tracks and nary a ballad in sight yet. I won't lie and say it's plain sailing - but that's the way they go sometimes! There's been a little illness and the odd wrench in the works - but the music really kicks butt. And that's it - now back to the studio I go, always 70 degrees - where the rain is not rainy and the sun is not sunny.

That's a great ratio, GB. I'll be somewhat disappointed if there are no ballads. 2 or 3 seems to be the right number. And I'd like to see faster paced ballads like After The Fall.
