....don't be wrong anymore. 8)

Sorry; couldn't resist....

I was watching a show on PBS about Judy Garland; somebody said something about the meaning of true, outstanding talent versus mediocre talent:

I wish I taped it to get the exact quote, but....here's a paraphrase:

"What is it about Judy? What makes her stand out from other Singers from her era?.....They all can sing; they are all good; they can all cover Music written by Gershwin and others....but somehow, Judy Garland stands apart from all of them."

....sound familiar...? :P

Memorex, there is another from the Schon & Hammer album that Perry co-wrote. I assume he didn't sing on it tho. Could u please upload it, if u have a chance? Covered By Midnight (co-written by Steve Perry)

99% of them. ;) :P
I got a few of them but the majority are giving me the "dowloaded exceeded limit" error.

Thanks to all who posted them.

Hi don't mean to be a pest but could someone please repost all of the above, thanks in advance!

I had these on a disc labelled "Infinity Demos". I didnt listen & compare before posting them. Cyndy did & said they're from the King Biscuit Flower Hour, a radio show from 1978. I have a boot of that whole show. After listening & comparing, Cyndy is 1000% right (of course). These are merely the songs along w/out the commentary.

If u don't have that show, I'd be glad to upload it for u. I think it's better to hear the commentary & the songs tho.

I'm uploading the Tommy song "An Angel Above Me" right now. I just explained to LLL that the Journey Infinity demos were actually from the King Biscuit Flower Hour and labelled incorrectly. Do u have that boot or do u need me to upload it? The only other Journey demo I remember uploading was Something To Hide. Do u want that one?

If there's anything else u need, be specific & I'll be glad to upload it for u.

The big guy upstairs, hmm. Could u ask him to give me a few months of decent health? I'll take that :-)
