You don't like Shiner? It's the best dark beer I've ever drank.

I don't know if it's made by a bigger brewer or if it's just Shiner, but if you have it there, give it a swig. I love it.

Good night Steve.

I've just put on the 1981 Journey concert. My wife hates when I do this.

Another small update...Alex just sent me a new version of "It's All Over Now" with him on guitars, and it sounds great! I just uploaded the entire song to Myspace for those that want to check it out. We're sick of trying to find the "perfect" guitarist, so until the next Steve Lukather, or Key Marcello comes along...Alex is going to play the guitars in all of these demos. He's a great guitarist in his own right, and I think he did a fantastic job for someone who hasn't played for a few months! Check it out, and let me know what you think... www.myspace.com/jimrykbost

He also kicked ass on the vocals of this song. It's the first song that we've actually collaberated on with him co-writing...until now, I've done ALL the writing. It's turned out awesome, and I can't wait for you to hear our next song that will be done in the next few days. Hope you like it! :D

Thank you very much MG! I know most bands/people wait until their songs are finished to post them, but I enjoy throwing the songs up there for feedback and let people hear how the songs evolve. It's great to hear what people think about the songs too. The only problem with myspace, is that I have to shrink the size of the files so much, that a lot of the sound quality and little nuances disappear. Oh well, it's still a great medium for us to get the songs heard.

I'll know in the next week if it's still on. I talked to Alex last night, and his mac is toast! He uses it to record, and to run his business from, so needless to say...that's gotta be replaced. If he has to buy a new one, he may not be able to come. If that happens, I might just buy his ticket...we'll see. I'm still 90 percent sure it's happening. We've made too many plans to let a damn computer mess it up! :x

Uh Fanilow's may not be happy with our show...it was a toss-up between Manilow and Wham. We had to go with Wham of course! Culture Club would have also been him out.

G.I.Jim wrote:This was brought up by Dan, and I thought I'd throw this question out to you on the board... Alex (my project's vocalist) should be coming here (everything permiting) from Italy on March 9th so that we can finish up this album worth of demos, and just to hang out and jam. Alex asked me if I'd be able to line up a gig while he's here, but honestly...I haven't played a local club or bar gig in probably 3 years! I wouldn't really care to play a bar, but this got me to thinking after Dan brought it up.

Would any of you be interested in coming here to S.C. for a cook-out and a night of Alex and I jaming/taking requests for you? It'd probably be on that Friday the 13th, or Saturday the 14th. The only problem is that I probably wouldn't have room for anyone to stay. We do have a nice hotel 10 minutes from here though.

I don't know how feasible any of this is...I'm just putting this out there to see if/how many of you would be interested. You can just reply on here, or PM me if you're interested. Thanks,

Jim

That's not entirely so...it's Friday, and we'll go out and hit the bars on Saturday (if that's cool with everyone!) I was only planning originally to do something Friday, but since you're all coming from so far away, I figure we can Jam Friday, sleep in a little Saturday, you guys can hang out (we'll have to find something to do) during the day Saturday, then hit the bars later that night. Is that cool? Another option Sat. night, is to go to Wild-Wings which is a pretty damn cool wing place/bar. They should have a live band then. Just let me know what you all think about it!

Is there anything that you guys would like to see or do? I know the guys could care less about it (except for you Deano), but there's a serious shopping complex 3 or 4 miles from the hotel. It's called "Village At Sandhill", and it's it's own freaking town! I've never seen anything like it before. That's also where the Wild-Wings is. Just let me know.
