How about Harmony, or has anybody but me heard that song. It was from his band to be Alien Project i think was the name. The drummer was kiiled the night before they were to sign a big label deal and they all felt it was over. What a song. SP really early on. Probably Adam Lambert's age now.

I thought it was his bass guitarist. Anyway, I never understood why they folded Alien Project completely with a record deal. I understand taking a step back and grieving for a period of time, but why dismantle the whole band that Perry had worked so hard to put together to then turn around and join someone else's band? Was the guy that was killed a principal songwriter with Perry that left a hole in the band?

Yes, he was and SP even said the guy who was killed had a friendship or even somewhat of a label or something like that with the company that was going to sign them. And Jana, you got that right, when i heard that, i wondered wow, why not do what you set out to do and make it big, don't just quit and go back to your grandfathers turkey farm, cause thats what he did.

That is why YOU DA MAN, Rick..........We appreciate you here more than you will ever know............ :D

I might need your input on how to download some horrible singing of mine later, once my throat infection is better. I now have a digital recording device that downloads to a computer. I was playing with it some before I got sick. Right now my voice cracks and is too scratchy. Just hope all the professional singers here don't throw things at me later.    ...............LOL!

I will make sure you don't take any of the blame...................

P.S. to stay on thread subject................for those who require this for mental stability........LOL! PERRY Rules..............always............He has a beautiful voice, one I love and will always treasure. LOON Affirmation for the day.

I've always wondered what he SP feels or better yet thinks when he hears his songs on the radio. I bet he gets really sad knowing him as i think i do. They were good times for him, but he is so much of a special person and i guarantee he's been told that all his life. Am i oversteping myself belief here but how much of the world loves him and what he gave of himself. Is he to most, just another singer, or is he much more to those out there as he is to me. Maybe it's because i grew up with him and am a fan of his, but i think he's untouchable in music.

I think he's over that part with the sadness and all that shit. He would have already offed himself if he maintained that dismal state of mind for so many years.

Why would Arnel Pineda have anything on his webpage concerning Steve Perry. He's never even met the man.

Arnel didn't post it. His fans did. And it's not his official site, another fansite of his. Many on his site are longtime Journey fans and thought it was interesting and new news on Perry and wanted to share it with those interested. There's been some Augeri news posted over there and someone once even posted a Fleischman clip to share with people the beginning of Journey with a lead singer. Just like we post many things on this site that are of interest.

This is living proof that some people will rush into anything head first, sans protective head gear. Yeah, Arnel must have posted that because it's on his forum. Nice backstop, Jana! 8)
