Ordered the issue online and it finally made its way.

Look forward to reading the issue later, but my initial thoughts are: 1) How is Michael Bolton ahead of Ann Wilson on the top vocal list? Perry, Gramm and Delp, I can handle. But Bolton? I don't think so. 2) Why is Train included in the issue at all?

Train is great. I admit they have their share of not-great songs, but overall this band is really good. Pat Monahan's solo album is one of my favorites. And check out Daryl Hall's Live From Daryl's House with them. So really, really good stuff.

My bad...I just noticed that the issue covers newer bands as well. (I had it in my head this was simply a throwback issue). Not a big fan of Train though...Monahan's a good singer, but his voice or their songs haven't really grabbed me.

I actually ordered the issue online through this site:
http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/i ... c+rock+aor

Unfortunately it took more than a month to get here, and it seems they are now out of stock. Usually they have Classic Rock at local Borders and Barnes & Noble....do you have either of those in your area?

I just checked out that Live From Daryl's House. I've heard about it many times, but never looked into it. Being a Hall & Oates fan - I've gotta say that Daryl is in my top 10 vocalists of all time...and this album is fucking genius:

One of the greats. In terms of everything that goes along with having a career, he is one of the very best.

That's likely the current Classic Rock issue. The AOR issue reads Issue No. 1.

Have you ever bought anything from eBay? Seems there are a few issues available...

Also...a pretty big omission on the Top 40 AOR vocalists: Freddy Curci.
