If it so happens that one these nights, you're in bed and you hear soft footsteps in the hall, your bedroom door opens and you see the gleam of a blade, and the feel the presence of a terrifying menace, no one here is going to feel an ounce of sympathy for you.

Well, both of those comments are a little unnecessary, aren't they?

Great!!! you should write the next Lord Of the Rings...
You know what each time that I hear that there are death soldiers in Iraq, it me makes me really sad. I feel sorry for them, because they didn't need to get there. Can't beleive some people still support this war.
Keep them all out of harms way!

Whether or not we should be there is a pointless arguement at this point don't you think? Would you suggest that we just pull our forces out, and let the country implode? I don't like death anymore then the next person, and have lost friends to war. Not this war, but it's no different...people die. It sucks!
Have you ever talked to a U.S. soldier? Have you ever taken time to find out what it is we are doing over there? Although these stories rarely ever make the news... there are a LOT of improvements over there that the U.S. is, and should be proud of. Ever since the troop insurgence, we've gone leaps and bounds over our previous efforts. and we are making a LOT of progress. Progress that is apparent to everyone except Barrack Obama![]()
I have a lot of friends that are there now, as well as others that have already gone and returned, and I'm very proud of them and their accomplishments. While I don't neccesarily agree with WHY we went over there, we as a nation WERE attacked. We lost thousands of innocent lives on one horrific day. We were hurt and angry as a nation, and needed something to rally behind. Saddam was a threat to every country, wether it was directly or indirectly! We removed him from power, and saved his nation from the horrible tortures and executions that they faced. In my mind, he was every bit as bad as Hitler, and I'm glad we got him when we did!
In case you haven't noticed...we are involved in a war. A very long war unfortunately, and people die in wars. If you compare body counts of this war, with nearly any other war the U.S. has ever been involved in...we're not losing many lives at all! It makes me sick to think of the people we have lost, but you have to look at the bigger picture. Those soldiers gave their lives to protect us from terrorists, and and an evil dictator, and they haven't died in vain.
I guess we could just stay on our own soil from here on out...I'm sure the terrorists will leave us alone as long as we don't provoke them! When you've talked to a U.S. soldier, then feel free to discuss our deaths. Until then...I'd appreciate it if you'd just put a cork in it!

True...this was a premptive action to ensure that Saddam Hussien did not give terrorist any materials that could be used to make an attack on US soil, only this attack would have made 9/11 look like a bottle rocket going off.
Nope sorry...We were completely justified in going to Iraq...regardless of what Canada or the rest of the world says. Point of fact: They aren't gunning for you (yet) and didn't attack any of your buildings or kill your people (Other than as colateral damage in the towers).
They have attacked us for years, (Anbar towers, US Embassies bombing, USS Cole) as this time we hit them first before they could potentially get materials that could have rendered a US city uninhabitable.

That was pure speculation. And Iraq did not had any weapons of mass destruction. This was the main reason to start a war. And it was a lie. The war in Iraq did not made the world a safer place.
BTW, G.I.Jim, you are such a moron that I cannot have a conversation with you.
