There is no truth, it is all opinion.
Perry fans have been using the Tiny Tim comment as an insult for years.
That was definately NOT a non-combative comment given it's history.

And Perryfaithful, sorry, but I am almost 100% sure you have said the same thing so the "innocent" post of yours seems like BS.

But no matter...I don't place any weight on this subject and I chimed in with my opinions before responding to anything else. Let's just keep it light and quit pretending to be "innocent". HOTS is not a victim here...she was baiting Monker. Let's not be foolish enough to think otherwise. Just be HONEST. OhSherrie, HOTS and Perryfaithful like to argue....so does Monker. So do I at times. Maybe some others enjoy it as well. But there are plenty of others who get tired of it. I hope they understand that this is not a very serious board...it is still just entertainment.

Carry on! ;):)

That would be "Journey On" and you may be of a clearer mind than I Dave. You must be younger

Tiny Tim has just been shown on TV a bunch because of Johnnie Carsons passing and I was thinking he reminded me of someone, but I actually thought of kenny G (had just bought his duets) until this conversation started. Dave, maybe this conversation has been going on for years, but Steve Augeri is not on my radar and not my focus in Journey. Not saving up his statistics! Actually, I should not even be in "this kind" of conversation! So for the first time (or the last time if Dave is in charge) Augeri and Tiny Tim could be brothers!!

If she was, and only she would know, then so be it.. However, everytime I come on here Monker is in a dragout brawl with someone...His act is tired..really fucking tired..Who made him band manager for Christ' sake!

Count me in.. I am sick of certain people ramrodding their way through others because of a difference of opinion.. Monker, dude, get a grip..You think you are a m/f ing battleship, pounding the shit out of others..Well, hopefully I can be on the other side and maybe even things out.. Notice HOTS said this could and should be a lighthearted thread..uh, no way.....Geez..

Smitty fits the part, he is a jazz musician and he looks like it. But I didn't like his perm on Evolution or his Frontiers look. I was glad when he took the rest of the hair off.

if Perry's look is called BLOATED, well then I will take THAT over the ribs sticking out look of infinity days

I think steve Smith looked grand and I am sorry we have not spent much time talking about him here cause his presence at the WOF also ment alot to me!

Sorry folks, but Deen did not look well to me and he has been out ill I understand.

" I can't wait for the day when I see my foot grow a dick, or my dick grow a foot..whatever the hell that means..Thanks Herbie"

some interesting visuals here, but what is CLEAR is Herbies lack of FAITH in this line up to do anything of significance. How comforting to have a friend like Herbie! Wonder why he did not attend the WOF??

It is not a lack of FAITH, it is realism! Realistically, Journey doesn't stand much of a chance of getting a hit in this musical climate. There are still chances and possibilities but reality is that AOR Rock by 40s-50s men is NOT going to be popular.

TRUE. But I still think he should have unbuttoned. It really looked like it was uncomfortable at times.

I agree completely. I miss Smitty and I wish I had a chance to atleast see his Vital Information. He is an incredible player!

I agree again, he lost a lot of weight a while back and that was good. But this recent bout with exhaustion and dehydration really took it's toll. Combine that with his hair in between long and short...it's not working for him. But I hope he gets healthy soon.

i wish to see vital info also and check the schedule on a regular basis!

As for Deen, I do hope he is on the road to recovery. He has a baby on the way....very important!!

P.F. and Paul. You both came so close with your kitty, kitty and Meow and I think that you gave Dave the clue. Good job Dave! Now I have to wait for Paul to deny it after saying he would ware red leather for his lady.

Why get so out of shape about who I think of when I see Augeri. Tiny Tim was quite a celebrity with a cover song in the top twenty. He is more a part of music history than some I know. The resemblance was pointed out to me by others and it was not, I repeat, was not meant to be a slight. Everyone says that I could be Jane Fonda's twin and I don't find Vet's spitting on me. Augeri should take it as a compliment. I do!

I said Augeri's looks reminded me of him, I didn't say that he acted like him.

What LOW comments...even for you.

There are MAJOR differences. Tiny Tim was an untalented buffoon. He had so much thick yellow tartar on his teeth, he made you sick to look at him.

Steve is a legitimate vocalist. His teeth are a beautiful white, and he has a smile that does them justice. He has a lot of class. Tiny Tim had no class to speak of......

If you can't come here to discuss something without throwing in your unfunny jabs, why come at all? I know...I know...you like the sex/dick jokes......

Jane Fonda's twin? Time for a face lift?

Talk about low comments! Are you trying to hurt my feelings or something?

Such personal attacts on Tiny and Jane are uncalled for. Better talk to Andrew about you.

Given that he had sleek, shiny hair for his Strange Medicine tour, and seemed to take such good care of it at that time, I would have to say it definitely now looks like a rug. Maybe he got up that morning at the last minute and, deciding to grace Journey with his appearance, he didn't have time to wash it. Still looks like a rug though. And since we're on the subject he did look bloated, and his teeth could use some Crest Whitestrips.

Come on, guys. Let's get real.
Augeri and Perry are BOTH endearingly doofus like in their own way. When photographed just right they can look aesthetically pleasing, but at many times they look very much like long haired, big nosed dweebs.

In regards to Perry looking bad, I don't see it.
Perry only looked bloated in ONE, that's right, just ONE picture and it's when he was smiling, so his features were all scrunched up. Look at him in all the other photos.
I think Perry looked great and I think Augeri looked great, too.

Out of the current lineup, I'd say Jon Cain is easily the best looking one out of the bunch.

Well, the remark has been used as an insult on this board and the old VH1Boards for a very long time. And it was used by some of your "friends" so I find it hard to believe that you meant it any other way.

It not considered a nice thing. It means you will do whatever the misses says because she has the kitty. it means you cannot think for yourself.

Perry reminds me of Kevin Pollack. He was in End Of Days, Indian Summer, Santa Clause 2 (as Cupid). I first noticed this when the footage of Perry at the Baseball game was a big deal.

And I remember that when Perry first hit the scene there was a lot of shit thrown at him for his "androgynous" look. He was very effeminate at times. But no one really cared because he had the voice of an angel!

And you wonder why he does not make more appearances.

I think they looked just like themselves. That's who they are.

He did unbutton his shirt at the collar.

He tried something new with the hair. I like it. Thick and full. It's his.

Sorry, I tried to help you out with some of the roles he has played. He started as a comedian, then comic actor, then actor who is funny at times. I like the guy. But when I saw Perry with the baseball hat on, all I could think was "Kevin Pollack"!!
