OhI'm sorry bud. I thought you were saying paradise was a better tour. My bad..

It's just that some people on the Journey boards are so desperate to justify and validate Steve Augeri that they seem compelled to try and diminish the real voice of Journey by whatever means they can contrive.
I personally prefer Steve's more mature voice. I think it's more soulful and resonant. In fact, I think ROR and TBF are Journey's best works. Street Talk and FTLOSM are also excellent. The vocal work on the earlier albums is extraordinary and I love hearing it, but it's not Steve's most impressive work, IMO.

No, I'm just being calling it like I see it.There are some fans of the current band who are also Perry fans, but there are also several who seem compelled to say the band is better off with Augeri because Perry can't sing in his old range anymore. That sounds to me like justifying Augeri by putting Steve down. The band doesn't perform those early songs now the way Steve used to do them because nobody can, so why is it such a big deal to some people that Steve couldn't sing them that way now? There's no way in which this band is "better" without Steve Perry.

Why thank you Deano. I hope your day is lovely too.

Andrew should recruit you for the board.

I started off with 100% sarcassim, but throughout the ordeal, have found this to be a nice refreshing way to comingle. HOTS is not a b*tch, NIG is a mere mortal, and I am not satan.
This might just work.
Andrew? Your thoughts sir?
