If it was written by someone else and had a different sound to it, it would be ok. I remember when it came out and we played it for a long time, that it wasn't a BAD song, it's just that I hear that Boston "sound" and I have to turn the channel(or turn down the monitor as the case may be)

Interesting. I love the Boston "sound". Makes them unique. I guess working at a radio station, you hear the same music over and over more than most people do.

OMG...you have NO idea. A few of the songs I would be happy NEVER EVER hearing again:

You Shook Me All Night Long
Stairway To Heaven
Runnin' With The Devil
Jamie's Cryin'
La Grange
Jungle Love
Paradise By The Dashboard Lights
Love Shack(used to work Top 40)
Bad Company
Feel Like Making Love
Tom Sawyer(even as much as I LOVE Rush)
Highway To Hell

As mentioned before ANYTHING by the Doors Joplin or Skynyrd

Faithfully
Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'
Anyway You Want It
Open Arms

These are about the only ones I can't handle anymore. I could listen to Separte Ways every day. I love that song.

Your welocme no problem I can do it everyday if you like to, American.

Well Toto rocks and so do Journey. I can understand by only hearing the hits by Toto isn't that good but listen to all other stuff I'm sure there is plenty of tunes you gonna like.

I don't wanna compare Journey and Toto or starting any anti threads about it. They are my 2 favourit bands! But I'm a much bigger Toto fan.

Anyway

Peter gabriel have done some strange stuff to but I Can't say I hate him.

Well, in that case, they DO suck ass. Sorry, just plain vanilla and IMO, a poor man's Journey, without the best all time voice.

KOD kicks ass, the best Toto.
But I'd take any Toto (even with Byron singing) over Deano's Bryan Adams and Springsteen any day.

EOTT and Burning Heart. They played 80's music until about 10, then the dance shit started.

NMT-

Tell you what, you go watch TOTO fill out those theatres, and I'll watch Adams or bruce sell out arenas.

Look, I never said TOTO wasn't talented, they just aren't catchy, and don't have more than 5 hit songs.

You all who disagree with me know you are wrong

The band that they are calling Journey sucks anymore. It's such a far cry from the band that made it all happen. I hate what it's become. It's a crime!

Toto sells out arenas, just not in the US. Where is Adams selling arenas out? Can't deny Springsteen's success, still don't care for him, in a league with Dylan and Neil Young to my ears.

Angie, I was just being sarcastic to old Deano....

Y'know, I only have ALL of Toto's CD

As a musician myself, I worship the ground those guys ( except Bobby Kimball - never really did dig his vocals tho ) walk on....

NMT, as much as I am a Toto freak, Dean is right there...

Toto does NOT sell out arena's in the US....everywhere else, YES. Not in US of A. Sorry...

And rest assured that Dean will come out answering your BA question... :)

NMT, again as much as I am a Toto freak, you're kidding right...??

BA and Bruce are immensely talented songwriters and musicians....plus they have better vocals, IMO, than Bobby Kimball....

Dude, you know I loive ya, but that's a bit of a reach, don't you think this is a stretch? Now, I know you have Andrew on your side, but I don't care.

Tell ya what?

Red13joepa has BA's latest CD and he I think has TOTO's.

Let him decide.

IMO, Room Service is by far the best Melodic CD of the year. Blows away Generations.
