ok good idea Memorex I've been asking people on the blog to e-mail media about it.
Deano, check your e-mail.
I did finally get some results for my efforts and Journey will be sweating bullets soon, bet on it. Jon is gonna regret that integrity interview very possibly. Don't wanna say more just yet. I knew management would have no comment but lets see how their publicist handles this now. Keep up the barrage of e-mails and phone calls. Can't turn back now.

I'm not saying you're completely wrong, but having been at the Edinburgh gig and that close to the stage this is what I do know:

1. Lights was definetely not lipped, because there was loads of talking in between singing that was related to the Edinbuggers

2. Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' was played as an encore

3. Only The Young sounded completely different from any the file Deano has on his blog

4. Don't Stop Believing was also very interactive so I doubt that was mimed.

It amazes me how people here keep declaring "I have been a fan and supported this band for 30 or how ever many years", and now these same "fans" are basically willing to rip down this band and have the name Journey trashed publicly because they may have been doing something for a tour or two that others in the music world do all the time.

You act like the band has been cheating you the whole 30yrs of their carreer. If you are true fans of this band, the allegations are out there, people have noticed, so why not sit back now and see what happens from here. Maybe the band folds after this tour, maybe they make a singer change during or after this tour, maybe they reunite with Perry for a farewell tour. Let see what happens.

This band has given me musical pleasure for 30yrs, and I am not going to let a possible two summers of lip synching destroy my love for this band. If they continue on in the future and have a singer that lips, well then it will be time for me personally to decide whether I continue to support this band or not. But, because some of you all have your panties in a bunch and are not satisfied with just getting the allegations out there, those of us who still support this band are now facing the fact that the Journey will quite possibly be coming to end. And if it does come to end it will be because of you so called "fans" who just weren't satisfied with informing people of this. You are out for blood. It started as a crusade for the truth, now it is just a witch hunt.

Let people decide for themselves if they wish to continue to support Journey.

I'm not a blind follower. They are the ones destroying their legacy, not me or any other fan.

When I called Azoff's office today, they could have have explained it that way to me. But they chose to make no comment.

Let's put the blame where it lies, shall we? The band needs to make a statement. And I don't care if they can't make money if they can't put on a real live show. They need to know when to say when.

Let me just say this and I have it from the horse's mouth so to speak, media representatives making inquiries have also gotten the no comment from Journey and their publicist so I'd expect no different from their management. Deano and many other fans have been patiently waiting as well as media so more than just fans are tired of it when they have been given every opportunity to put this whole issue to rest long ago. They have now provided more interest in this than by not responding and canceling interviews etc.

If the band made a statement denying this, would you stop. I think not. If the band makes a statement admitting they did this. Would you think you have won some prize.

You believe that Augerie is lip synching, so don't support the band anymore. That is all I am trying to say. Half the people that are backing you and Deano up, haven't even listened to the taped "evidence". They are just joining you guys because a. they have never like Journey, b. Hate the fact that Journey has continued without the almighty Perry, and c. there is the half that has listened to the "evidence" and agree.

The "evidence" is out there. Let people decide for themselves if they want to continue supporting this band or not. What do you expect to accomplish by getting a comment from the band?

Also, If again ask that if you have been such a big fan for such a long time, why the hatred because of a couple of tours? I you are such a long time fan, hasn't Journey provided you with many more happy, good times than just two "bad" tours? I know they have for me.

You got it all wrong.

The mass majority of people who disagree with me haven't even listened to the evidence.

Sure they have. Give it up. Your crusade is accomplishing nothing. Why don't you spend that effort making money? Or maybe that is what you think you are doing...?

No. The majority of people who disagree were actually at 1 of the gigs and saw and heard him for themselves.
