Hmmmm...

Group: Right now Little Big Town - (Kiss and The Police are up there)
Album: The Police - Synchronicity
Song: Still The One by The Orleans (Honorable mention: Crazy Love by Poco)

If we are including Journey in the album or songs, then it would be Any Way You Want It for song and Departure for Album.

1 - Name your favorite band other than Journey

One is not enough. LOL.. I like so much. How about Skynyrd, Toto and Kansas.

2 - Name your favorite song (including Journey)

Tuesdays Gone (The latest "Live" with Symphony gives me chills....)

3 - Name your favorite album (including Journey)

So many but I guess today it would be "Boston" Just got the newly remastered (This is my third copy, one original, one gold 24 bit and now this) and I have to say it sounds amazing. I can't bvelieve it's been 30 years it still sounds go timeless 17 million sold later. :P I love all three of the first three Boston albums.

Runners up?

Street Survivors, Vicious Cycle and Second Helping
The Seventh One
Leftoverture and Point of Know Return
Hurry Sundown
Heart, Heart
Bryan Adams, Waking up the Neighbours

And too many more to name....

Love Kansas.... left overture was fantastic.

Todays flavor for me in favorite band/albumb/song..

1.band/ QUEEN---the history of it all!!
2. song bad company--Paul Rogers kicks mighty butt--when he did that during the Queen Paul Rogers tour in MSP it was the highlight of the night.
3. LP Leftoverture. music is still timeless on the CD you have to be in a mood to listen to it..but wow.

Yup. Beat out Permanent Waves and Grace Under Pressure for me (Which was a VERY hard thing to do). The lyrics are superb and the music...I STILL hear something different and new everytime I listen to it. Again..the production is a little loud for most...but it's a GREAT album. :-)

This may be considered blasphemy to most Rush fans...but Farwell to Kings...I could never REALLY get into the album. At least not enough to put it in my top 5 Rush albums. Start throwing rocks at me now. LOL.

"A Farewell to Kings" is one of my top 5 albums of all time. The title track and "Xanadu" are awesome, not to mention the others. "Cinderella Man" is the weakest track, in my opinion, but it's still good.

LOL....blasphemy!!!!! Hey, we all like different stuff. The cool thing about Rush is that they change with every new CD. But it's all good stuff! I really like "Hold Your Fire" and I know it probably would not be in most people's top five Rush albums.

Don't get me wrong...most of it's good...just not in my top 5. Madrigal is the weakest track for me. WAY too dated and "poofy". LOL. They REALLY upped the stakes when they put out "Different Strings". AWESOME song. :-)

Hold Your Fire is great. Force 10 is in my TOP 10. Mission Is right behind it.

I love "Hold Your Fire". I didn't used to like it but after listening to it many times, I've grown to like it. I think some of Peart's best writing is on that album, especially the song "Mission", which is one of my all-time favorite songs. Very inspiring tune.

Escape79 wrote:Madrigal is the weakest track for me. WAY too dated and "poofy". LOL.

I love that track. The lyrics by Peart are really poignant...

When the dragons grow too mighty
To slay with pen or sword
I grow weary of the battle
And the storm I walk toward
When all around is madness
And there's no safe port in view
I long to turn my path homeward
To stop a while with you

When life becomes as barren
And as cold as winter skies
There's a beacon in the darkness
In a distant pair of eyes
In vain to search for honor
In vain to search for truth
But these things can still be given
Your love has shown me proof

"Mission" is a classic. I really also like the song "Tia Shan" and I LOVE "Second Nature" Have you ever heard Eric Martin's version of "Mission"? He did it justice I thought which is saying alot with a Rush song.

Need to put VT back on the turntable on as it didn't too much for me at first...I've had Rolling the Bones on for the best part of two weeks now...so it's a current fav of mine....let's face it with Rush we're spoilt for choice. And in my opinion they have the best Fan website on the web....I don't think anyone would disagree with that....not to mention regular make-overs. Take a look at the Styx site, other than pics from the dressing room and Tommy's notes nothin ever seems to happen...wish they'd spice it up a bit! Journey's site is okay but nothin to scream home about, unless you press that BT button, that'll scare the shit out of anybody...that's a joke okay, a joke!

LOL.
Gotta agree that we are spoiled for choice. "80's pop"- Power Windows. "Grunge"-Counterparts. "Progressive"- 2112 or Hemispheres. etc. Love that band. Can't wait for the next album and tour sometime next year. WHOOOHOOOO.

fav band/singer other than Journey - Sammy Hagar

Fave song - Faithfully

Favorite album - Whatever I'm listening to at the time. I honestly don't have a favorite "album". That's like asking me to pick my favorite child, even though I only have one.
