Well, like I've said before, a song doesn't have to adhere to a set-pattern in order to be good.
However, "Believe's" deviations from convention don't render it any more progressive or revolutionary -simply meandering and repetetive.
For example, "Faith in the Heartland", "State of Grace" and "The Time" all broke away from the confines of radio play by having extended running times and for the most part, the risk paid off. The songs rock.
Take it off a future Generations album sure, if it were possible. I can't really understand this song, it just sux to be flat out honest.
