I don't think so. I think there will just be more denial and then people will start calling Sammy an uninformed asshole.

My god, they are a whole lotta blind and stupid over there aren't they!? Sammy would never lower himself and his fans would never LET him lower himself to be a part of Journey. Sammy is far and away above and beyond that!

No shit....Sammy talkin' trash? He didn't put down Augeri at all.

Sammy needs to reinvent himself? Has he heard Sammy's new cd?

JSS Rocks, I think they'd lock it anyway -- it's "speculation".

Well....I think you may be right...But no need to start a (another) war over there...It's just gonna take the focus of the Sammy interview.

Nice call btw !!

Question is: can the band still not make "the announcement" w/this interview out & about?

You didn't stir the pot...boston2 did by taking shots.

Sticking up for Sammy is a good thing.

Probably get deleted ASAP !

I tend to agree with DV on this one............. I am going to go check right now to see if the thread is still up.......... :D

Seems they already have! Obviously Sammy is out to destroy Steve A like so many other people who have accused him of lipping and now not returning!!!! :? ??
I think deep down inside people are starting to realise something is amiss, there are quite a few posters on there now that are not entertaining the wiggle posts or love fests anymore...about time.Hopefully they will all soon wake up and smell the coffee

It was a good interview. I like Sammy.

Those (Journey fans) who will insult Sammy (and discredit him for what he said about the Journey situation) need to remember that Sammy knows more about what happens behind the scenes than the fans do. He’s impartial and not speaking with an agenda against Mr Augeri. He’s been in the business for a long time. He knows the band members personally (and worked with Neal).

Sammy had to replace David Lee Roth and carve out his own identity and niche in VH-which he has done successfully (and not just with the fan base, but with the media and general public). If anyone is credible to speak about such situations, and how it has played out, it’s Sammy. I think Andrew was right to get Sammy's perspective on the issue.

Andrew, GREAT interview! Sounds like it must have been a riot talking to Sammy!

The more I hear, the more I see how rough it was at the end of his VH stint....he probably couldn't wait for it to end.

When we saw him at the PNC this past June he made a comment (can't remember his exact words) that he'd tour with the brothers, if the brothers were willing....can't see it happening....which is a shame.

And 5150 was released 20 YEARS ago? I feel old.

Thanks Andrew, Sammy's a fun guy and I'm so glad you finally got the interview.
