I think we all know what's gonna be said. To be honest I'm more interested in seeing the interview you did with Friga cos he usually has a lot to say.

My prediction is, the reaction will be some folk singing Ding-Dong Stevie's Out and others will be upset. To be honest I don't really care either way now... it's old news really.

Well, since Andrew said it doesn't address Tapegate, then I can't see being surprised.

Even though I feel bad for Augeri, I really do want to see the reaction of the Koolaid drinkers. Its the same thing as with the Perry situation....its not that I disliked Mr. P, its just I disliked his fans behavior at that point.

The thing is, at least Perry-heads were worshipping the vocal master. With Augeri its just blind support of a nice person who replaced Perry. Shocking is replacing the voice, shocking is not replacing the voice's temporary fill-in. And you know - I'm saying this as someone who supported Mr. A for 8 years, and love Remember Me - Generations.

I'm geeked and hopeful to hear about a new album...I guess thats the main thing I'm looking for. Some peeking at tantrums of Augeri-heads will be a secondary entertainment choice.

I really do think JSS coming aboard has brought the fanbase more together than since 1996. I say that, because the Perry-heads hopping back on-board greatly out-number the Augeri-heads hopping off. If you get a fraction of the Perry-heads back on board, a JSS lead album will outsell Arrival. I think GOLD is a real possibility....

They'll tell us JSS is in, Augeri is out.
They won't talk tapes and probably won't talk much about Auger, which I would like to hear about myself.
Everything will be optimistic from their point of view.

I agree that what would probably be considered the "major" news (JSS in, Augeri out) won't be much of a surprise, but I am most looking forward to potentially hearing about some future plans for the band. A tour for next year, new album...I'm hoping that some of this will be in the interviews.

Some bands do it for the fans and the music... the fans line their pockets, so it would be nice if they wouldn't cheat us... but obviously Journey does not give a shit if they spent 2+ years cheating us, and they're going to simply look the other way while they spend the money we gave them during the fraudulent Augeri years. Too bad. If they had the nuts to own up to it I (and Confessor?) could at least respect them enough to be willing to forgive it...

Me, I don't take it personal. Either I like the music or I don't. I do. I don't feel they owe me any kind of explanation. Some may think they do, but I don't.

I'm interested to read the interviews but I have surprised myself by not giving a crap any more. I'll be intrigued by what they say about the use of vocal tapes for Steve but apart from that, who really gives a toss.
