Pucker up.
Just remember, if I am offering my opinion than I cannot be wrong...:D

Bat 3 is Meatloaf-a-licious with all the orchestral saucepan fixins.
If you haven't yet - pick it up!

I've seen it advertised on TV. How does it compare to the first two installments in the series?

This is why I think it must be because I don't care for Meat's vocals much. I just picked up II the other day also. I have almost the same feeling for it as III. Some stand out tracks but not huge. But nothing can measure up to the first one. That one is a masterpiece!!

It is not a bad CD and I agree that everyone who is a fan of grand melodic rock should check it out for themselves. Our scene needs this CD!!

I'm afraid to check it out. Like u I thought the 1st one was simply magnificent. The 2nd one was disappointing to me. It just didn't have that "oomph". But it's hard to follow up something like that 1st one. Especially so many yrs later.

I don't listen to 1 very much, but this is close to 2.
There is a variation between Steinman's convoluted rock operas and more mainstream radio-friendly fare.
Some say its to the albums detriment, but I like the diversity.
Steinman's opuses, while brilliant, can also be very tiring.

"Alive" is nearly best Steinman song on the album and it's not even written by Steinman.
