What I expect is just hype about the reissues and another threat of thinking of maybe doing "something" as just a little cliffhanger at the end. Almost an afterthought.

My guess is u might get the ROR tour video (it's been talked about for so long) & u might get a new studio album. But I don't think u will get a tour in support of it.

There's things I'd love to see. That Beacon show would be one, tied with a ROR live DVD. But that's what I want, not what he will most likely say.

Seeing as how the interviews are taped, and we don't know for sure when he did this one, I'm going to assume it's about the reissues. It doesn't matter tho. He's going to give the same old speech I bet.

If there's anything new, he might say he's collaborating with this or that musician on some studio tracks, or producing something for this other guy, or he's going to sing Take Me Out To The Ball Game for next year's season opener. Maybe throw out the first pitch or something. (Insert lame "pitch" joke here)

Hmmmm my prediction would be that when SP does the interview on the 17th Dec (Which also happens to be my daughters birthday so i'm not going to miss that) He is going to say that he has recorded a SOLO album. That's my prediction and my wish.

Yes. I agree on all counts.

I want another Houston style DVD...but for ROR. You won't see the Beacon one as he has said that none of the 1994 shows were recorded (unless he's a big liar? haha).

I also assume this will be about the reissues, along with the same old same old on other topics. "Take Me Out To The Ballgame"?? There's an idea. I wonder why, on top of the White Sox thing, he wasn't tapped to do this kind of thing this past baseball season? Hmm.

I will be pleasantly surprised and happy to hear it if it's anything else. I am being neither optimistic nor pessimistic about it. Just realistic.

Obviously ALL would be insanely wonderful, but since I expect NONE, two out of five would be a nice surprise. :D

Hope you get your coffee date!

U have a video copy of that FTLOSM show? Any chance ur willing to make a copy for someone who'd die for it? I'll pay.

I'm planning to put some of the songs from the Beacon show on megaupload for anyone here who wants them when my digital camcorder gets back from being repaired so I can transfer video from my vcr to my comp. :)

Jeremy is my new best friend. :D
I've been wanting to see what this one looks like because I would happily buy a copy, except that I did that with another Strange Medicine show and it was a reeeeeaaaaly crummy one (not the performance, the horrid camera work... you see SP maybe 50% of the time in an hour and a half show  )

No problem at all, I think you'll really like the Beacon show. The sound is slightly muddy, but still very listenable and enjoyable, and the camera work is pretty good for a bootleg. Lots of closeups of Steve and the band.

Their performance of "I'll Be Alright Without You" is exceptional IMHO.

My prediction is that he will announce he's been recording new music and it will be out this Spring. He'll also be a bit ambiguos when talking about touring. We'll also learn that he might be teaming up with another artist or group. He'll go on to mention how much he misses his fans and that he'll see them in some capacity this summer. What does everyone else think?

it will probably be more of a summary of what was---that is more talk of the reissues and such, than the future. However that said... if mr Perry decides to come out of retirment in 2007....... that would be nice!! I JUST DONT SEE IT HAPPENING.
