Where's The Love?

Because I was at work, I asked the question earlier on BT and no one answered. I did not ask Fyre to do anything for me. I was quite capable of asking my questionon the main site and of course it was squashed. If anyone here thinks I'm jealous......wrong. I've met them all and really have no desire to hang out and get drunk with them. I don't care if there are no pictures of Deano and the band...the fact that they would go to a private party with the people from this board who have called myself and other BT'ers all kinds of names is my issue. It's just another indication of the character of this band. This is the place they prefer over their main site and their 5* fans. So now my rose colored glasses are off and my wallet is closed to them.

After being a neutral observer through all of this, I have a few questions. First of all, why is it a big issue that they go to a private party on their off day? Maybe if there was a BT party they could have attended it too, if someone had invited them. People from MR here obviously invited those guys and they decided that they would show up. Like I said earlier, it seems to me that people over at BT resent JSS and the current "decisions" of the band, so why would the band want to show up there? Seems like an easy decison to me - go somewhere where people support me. And they're in a rock band. They don't need to explain their off-day behavior to anyone.

There, now that it feels like the high school "why didn't I get invited to that one party", I'm done.

Frye, I can tell you first hand the guys are ok with Deano..Do you think Jeff would show up if not? No different than Neal hanging out with a few of us (for hours) in Konocti a few yers back. We had drinks, laughed and had a hell of a good time..

Where's the love between JSS and Deano?
Where's the love between RV and Deano?

Maybe I've missed something but I don't recall a single photo of JSS and Deano together. There's one photo of RV and Deano but RV is looking AWAY while Deano is clamoring to squeeze in. Either that or he's too drunk to stand upright.

Where's the love that certain people have tried so hard to project on this forum? Are there ANY photos forthcoming that have JSS, RV, and Deano arm in arm?

Some have voiced a concern - a real distaste - that JSS and RV would be at a party "WITH" the person who claims to be the reason why SA is out and JSS is in however it seems to me that they're NOT "WITH" him in any of the photos.

Just an observation.

Andrew why is it that those of us who question alot of the things going on get this response from you. Seems the exact same thing that the mods at BT are doing to the peoople from here.

I enjoy your main site, but alot of things I have read here on the forum make me wonder.

It was a lame attempt by Fyre to discredit Dean. Funny. People think Dean ain't anybody, yet they still go after him as if they think he is! It's laughable & thanks for another good laugh!

Listen Jeff was kind enough to come to the House of Blues in Vegas, at my invitation. He spent alot of time with everyone and we all appreciated it. And those were all BT people.

My concern arose because so many of us and one person in particular who IS a friend of the band, were abused on this board and all over the Net by Dean and his faithful. It may seem high school to you but to me it seems that this is the exact time when the band should step back from the fans and wait for the dust to clear.

Over the last few years there have been many off site gatherings, has the band showed? Why do they need an invite when it is posted on their official website where and when the gathering is happening.

I'm not going to argue. You can all enjoy your new Journey.

Maria, it isn't your concern or your business really on WHO Journey hangs out with on their own time. And referencing the 5* ILAA fans doesn't apply here. That only applies when Journey is doing a concert on that particular nite, when they are WORKING !

I didn't see any preference you are speaking of of Journey preferring MR over BT. I just see it as two of the guys going to a party that they were invited to. I believe you are making this bigger than it really is.

Becaue they were invited. The people here have spent time with Jeff before and invited him to this party. It's not like the party was not going to go on if Jeff and/or the rest of Journey could not make it. They decided to have some fun on their off-day in Baltimore.

And people wonder why the band doesn't post over at the official forum anymore. Everybody argues about the simplist things. Pretty soon JSS won't feel comfortable posting here anymore because everyone's a critic. I personally think it's pretty darn cool that he can come here and have actual discussions with people. But whatever.

I too am very envious of everyone who went but remember, as cool as it was, Jeff is just a regular guy in his own words who happens to play music for a living and is part of a GREAT rock band. I usually stay out of these things but...Ross & JSS (and maybe the rest of the band) were invited to a party by some fans - they showed up. Can't they have a good time on their day off & do what they want?
I thought it was pretty neat of them to go (heck, I'm sure they get enough of the fan gatherings on their work days, they could've slept or gone to a movie) just as I think it is neat for ANY member to meet with the fans. The band isn't keeping tally on who was nasty or not, I'm sure. Not every person who posts on this forum bashes other fans or band members. I don't agree with some of the stuff that goes on here just as I don't on other forums...but, I also think that a lot of this posting stuff doesn't always reflect a person's true character.

Sounds like Dean (maybe even Lula, Ed, Nig, etc.) has become friends with Jeff and maybe even Ross, so if they are friends first and then fans, why can't they come to a party? Dean and Dave and whoever takes/took pictures are just nice enough to share them with us for us to enjoy... I just hope that this doesn't get spoiled, you know? It's a lot of fun to look at these pictures, especially for those of us who couldn't go and would like to have been there. I mean all I was saying was that here's a guy who - by his own account - HANDED JSS the lead singer's job on a silver platter - personally invites him to a party and all the pics we see are of his big behind flopping on the floor on top of some women as if he's the bull walrus in heat on walrus beach!

Deano FLAT OUT threatens me and others. Calls me and others all kinds of what you so lovingly refer to as "colorful" adjectives and that's OK.

Deano goes on countless "rampages" and rips people new ones - not to mention the CONSTANT character attacks against Augeri. You remember - the current ones as well as the ones that led to his dismisal from JOURNEY.

I didn't make this post for Maria in the sense that you're suggesting. It something of a dedication to her as her thread at BT was immediately locked. I wanted her to know that others are questioning things, too. I also wanted her to see that perhaps the party wasn't exactly what some would have others believe.

However I'm now officially jealous after seeing that photo of Deano with JSS. Clearly, I was wrong in my observations. It appears that Deano and JSS are indeed best of pals.

Getting into this just shows me that some people are way into their private lives. I don't give a rats ass if they like to run naked in a field in their off time! I just sit back and enjoy the music.
