Nope... account gone. But.... the IP, username and e-mail addy wasn't banned or anything, so he can re-register without a problem. I have been bombshelling so many spambot accounts in the last week it's not even funny anymore. And to think that somewhere out there, it's someones "job" to program and dispatch them

Lately at work everyone has been getting hundreds of SPAM emails a day. Our ISP cannot filter them. We are about to switch. I hate those fuckers.

Both my email addies have been jammed with them for the last couple weeks. Maybe the morons that send them think we're more gullible in the holiday season.

I've had a ton of spam emails lately too. I've also received several trojans and the hacktool virus twice. It was fun paying Norton an extra $70 to get rid of hacktool for me. The sad thing is I NEVER open the spam emails.

Again I want to apologize to Megaphone for the mess-up. I mistook the name for a spambot account with the "phone" part in it. I deleted an account a few days ago with the name "Mega phone deals" or something like that and thought the bot was back or something. Andrew had nothing to do with it and I should have investigated further before deleting the name.

"Had" Sold almost all of them off and now only have 3. I kept the Ibanez RG570 because it's easily the best sounding and playing I've had. I still have the first new guitar ever given to me by my parents, because it's sentimental  And then I have a prototype design of mine from 1989 that'll soon be in production

I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a fan says to you at a show is not equivalent to you coming to Andrew's home and giving a general FU to everyone that posts at BT. Besides, many of those that post here, also post at BT. Are they included in your general FU to all BTers?

BTW, you never saw Steve Augeri Lip Synch anywhere. That, sir, is a fact. Even if you believe the rumors, the person that is responsible for the claims never said Steve was lip synching. They said he was singing to a pre-recorded tape of his own vocals.

I'm still not sure where one can draw the line on that situation. According to some, If you're not singing LIVE into the mic at that given moment, then you're lip syncing, whether it's your voice or not.

Lip synching is the act of pretending to sing into a microphone while a tape is played instead. There are many people that have said they heard Steve singing, flaws and all, up until the last day he performed with the band.

Now either he was pretending to sing and a tape was played, he was singing onstage, but a tape was being played into the Sound System at the same time, or he was singing period and that is what everyone heard. It can't be all 3.

I'm not debating which of the 3 occurred because it's been debated to death already. To most, however, lip synching is pretending to sing (mouthing the words) to a tape. It's my understanding that the original complaint was that he was singing Live, while a tape was played into the Sound System. If someone is going to quote the conspiracy theory, they should quote it as it was relayed originally.

Ummm... because it's ruined his reputation, maybe?? I don't know, just a thought, but if people were calling me a fraud, I'd want to SOMEHOW get my side of the story out there.

All I know about this whole thing, I've learned here. But, using your 3 examples in the above post, even if he was singing into a dead mic, and the first 3 rows or so were the only ones who heard him, wouldn't that still be lip synching to the other 300 rows of people who didn't hear him?? What they saw on the screen and heard on the sound system were not the same performance. And that, my friend, is lip synching. Wasn't he 'synching' his 'lips' to the pre-recorded music??? While hiding behing the big fuzzy microphone???
