Agree, very strong vocals........I was quite surprised after watching the Queen dvd that he sounded just as good at the end of the 2 hour concert as he did at the beginning (if not better)......considering singing Mercury songs for 2 hours can't be easy on the pipes......same as singing Perry songs, the guy's definately got his work cut out for him. :D

Yep, the Queen dvd/cd amazes me, he's like the Energizer Bunny  lol

Staying away from cigarette smoking is a must for just about everyone I've talked to. That kills their voices more than anything else. Many say a couple of quick shots of alcohol is ok, especially if followed by a glass of water, but they stay away from whiskey & rum as they are the worst. Vodka isn't so bad (might be why JSS drinks GG). Beer is a killer as it produces phlegm clogging up the vocal cords. As well as no coffee, I've always heard pepsi/coke is a killer. Juices aren't great either as they produce phlegm. Water, water, water is what they need. Some do water mixed w/honey & lemon (lemon thins out the mucus as it's acidic, honey soothes the throat preventing the lemon from drying it out). Not getting enough sleep is also a killer. When it comes to diet, dairy foods like cheese can produce phlegm for some people, as well as sugar, juice, pasta, bread & fruit. Candy is also a no-no for some people.
