Mickey still has the pipes but his band is not in the same league as the Starship lineups from the late 70's-mid 80s.

craig chaquico is an amazing guitar player,, he can do it all ,, i read in an interview somewhere sometime back , where schon was asked if he like what chaquico was doing on the higher octave label, schon replied back that ,"I was doing that type of playing when chaquico was still in diapers.". i take it schon is not a fan of his,,, 8)

Then Neal must have been in diapers, too, cuz they were born the same year. :lol:

Brywool, when I spoke with Mickey Thomas I didn't notice any scars on his face that looked like he was in a fight or such. But then, plastic surgery can do amazing things. He was though, vertically challenged....lol. :D 8)

I'm only 5'4"...and when he and I spoke I barely looked up to talk to him. I'm guessing no taller than 5'8"....

Yeah, I have seen clips of him from after that time and you could tell, but I believe he did do extensive surgery. What a drag. That guy's great talent.

Sorry, Brywool....absolutely nothing wrong with being 5'8".... I probably should have not used the verbage "vertically challenged"...just thought it sounded better than saying "short statured".... :wink: :wink: ...and again, no offense meant.

Not a thing, brywool. I am 5'3" tall, and when I met Neal really quick, I noticed he wasn't no more than 5'8" tall. :D
