A waste of time except for a very few exceptions like Forest Whitaker winning and giving a great speech. I can't remember the last time i saw an Oscar nominated movie in the year it came out.

Penelope Cruz not winning for her incredible performance as Raimunda in "Volver" was a sham and a farce. Then again, you actually have to have a brain to appreciate a film like that, and since it's one of "them-there foreign language movies" (as W would say), it never stood a chance. The Oscars are as big a joke as the ROR Hall of Fame.

SOMEBODY f***ing tell me how f***ing BLONDIE and THE MAMAS AND THE PAPAS are in the ROR HOF, and Journey and Def Leppard stand no chance in hell of even being nominated? BLONDIE? F*** YOU, BLONDIE, you talentless saggy-titted hag. There is no justice in the world.

I can understand people not liking certain celebs for whatever reason. But the only common denominator besides being talk show hosts, was that they are gay. One's funny and one's not, to many people.
