Did I mention that I HATE narcotics? I want so bad to go to sleep but I can't!!!!!! They have the opposite effect on me. So, what better way to spend the middle of the night in the hospital than posting useless crap on an internet message board???

I hate ALL prescription drugs.

I don't hate all of them, they have their place but I am far from a pill pusher. I would far prefer to use alternative methods before resorting to medications. The good news is the dilaudid has been turned off and I am using heat, relaxation, and aromatheapy for pain control now.

A doctor tried to put my wife on goddamn PROZAC for depression when her father died!!!!! That is the kind of shit I mean. Totally not necessary and we got through it. My grandfather lost his hearing because of chemo, my mother has been given the wrong meds so many times I can not fucking count.

As for beer, I self medicate for enjoyment, not to get away from anything.
