Some of the great talent that is being overlooked, because some twit is making brat faced little girls pee their pants, is probably better off for it. I would think that being picked up by agents who recognize your talent is much preferable to being locked into a AI title. Lots of the also rans, are doing great.

I just wonder how easy it would be for Simon to say, "Enough" and fix it so Sanjaya is sent home.

I have a feeling that will happen eventually - he will not be allowed to win if Simon has anything to say about it. I'm pretty sure he has a big say. :D

San-Gay-ya, as I like to call him, is in a world of his own. I think it was Randy who said to him last night that there was really no need in them giving him their advice because he ignored them anyway.

If he does manage to pull this win off, he'll be a 1 hit wonder at the most & that due to all the 13 year old little girls out there. As proven by Chris Daughtry, the contestants with talent will go on to have a career.

I remember in the second season with Josh Gracin, Simon just flat out told Josh there was no way he was going to win even though he was at that time getting a LOT of votes. Then at then at the end of it, they announced Clay Aiken and then had to back peddle and say that Ryan had spoken too soon, that they'd had a recount and that Rueben had won. I've always thought they intended for Rueben to win from the beginning and made sure he did.

If he couldn't do anything about Hicks last year, how can he do anything now. There had to have been a worst being voted on in Hicks case, imo.

I dunno. I think Idol has a plan. They want a winner to appeal to every demographic. Hicks got them a new one.

I would love to hear Howard Stern and Simon Cowell fight it out. Verbally or physically. I'd pay to see that. There is just one thing that bothers me and that is with them pushing this kid to the top somebody that might be deserving won't get it. I kind of think that is a shame.

That would be a thing of beauty, wouldn't it? I give the edge to Simon only because of his accent -- everything he says just sounds so much more cutting! :D

Yeah, the frightening part is that if he wasn't kicked off last week after that vomit inducing performance of You Really Got Me, how will he get kicked off this week after he arguably sang a little better than last week? (Although, that's not saying much!)

This show is strangely fascinating, and I don't know why.
I never saw the other years, and I came to this one only a couple of weeks ago - but I'm a little bit hooked on it now.

Does it air tonight?
We get it on Friday nights over here.

And I'm horrified that people would deliberately make multiple votes for someone who is no good at the expense of someone who can sing.

So you get the show twice a week?
The performances one night and then the results another? Wow thats a lot of hours for multiple phone votes to be made.
We get everything lumped together in one night.

So is Gwen [butterface -whatever that means] mentoring the kids? :)

Seriously, this BOY is a joke and anyone who votes for him is a joke. He's the SOLE reason I won't watch anymore this season. I just don't care to look at him. Everyone knows who the top 2 people are, maybe even the top 4 or 5. it pains me that people who buy tickets to the summer tour will have to hear Sanjaya live in person. He'd better get some balls fast. Heck, I bet even his sister beats him up.

FUCK, I'm sick of seeing that stupid little girl too. She was found to be a plant, but EVERYONE is using the video, and it's driving me nuts.

Wrong. Sanjaya is not a joke, the Entire show, the judges and the premise are a joke.

The biggest joke is Simon Cowell.

You can blame this entire "joke' that is voting for Sanjaya, on Cowells big mouth and Stern's big audience. Cowell says "if Sanjaya makes it to the finals, I will cancel this show." Stern picks up on that, gets Stern Army to vote, Sanjaya makes it, goodbye American Joke.

Stern has more power than anyone on radio or television.
