No, a troll is somebody who comes into a site "just" to bait or attack people. Just like JT/Reardon, or whatever his name is, did this past weekend. Granted Dean and Troll have a history, but he has attacked many people who have done absolutely nothing to him. Very disappointed in you Matty.

Trolls go to sites to fuck with people's brains. That is their one and ONLY purpose. They're not fans, they don't care to add to the board, save for turmoil. For some really sickass reason, they get off on fucking with people and getting a response. Very similiar to a child acting out, they will do 'bad behavior' to get attention, because they are too insecure to actually add to the conversation without being anti-social. Sick. Sad. That's a troll. Easiest way to get rid of them... ignore. The second you bite...they win.

Deb - I wasn't saying that JR/JT posts were balanced here or on the Google board (although they were on TJF). I was just trying to find the right definition for a troll in the context of this site where people are routinely abusive for laughs. And 'lack of balance' seemed a good definition to me.

I've said before that JR's unprovoked posts about you and other people on this board are completely out of order. I'm not excusing or justifying those posts at all.

But I guess for me I try to judge the post and not the poster alot of the time. Sometimes Journeytroll is hilarious. Sometimes
he isn't. And sometimes he crosses the line. But the same can be said for many of us regulars on MR too.

If she was, thats different. Hots is all part of the dynamics of this board. When push comes to shove, she is behind Dean and Lu on stuff that matters, like Lu's surgery.
