I'll send some prayers Debbie! My husband has had a kidney stone twice and it is supposed to be very painful. He says more painful than child birth, but I would argue that. Hope she's better soon!

Just now seeing this thread. I'm glad to hear it went well and hopefully she'll not have any more attacks. My husband has chronic stones and had a stent placed several years ago and he was in excruciating pain so I know how awful it can be for the person suffering.

My husband has had two and his first was when he was about 30. They just told him he is prone to it and he needs to drink a lot of water every day. He drinks more water now and hasn't had one in a while, but I don't know it that's why or not.
