Well, to be fair, Genesis did "Turn It On Again", "No Son Of Mine", and "Los Endos". Only the first two were shown. The first one is a friendly "classic" (of which VH-1 needed one), and the second was a hit. The song was huge in 1990/1991 (forget the year). The third would not have appealed to the video audience; just die-hards. You can see it online, though. As for the length of "Turn It On Again", it's for TV. I'm not surprised.
Once Phil warmed up he was fine. I've seen every Genesis and Phil tour since 1986 and I can tell you that Phil always puts on a good show. I even saw the BOth Sides and Dance Into The Light tours - both albums I disliked - and the shows were incredible. When he pulled out "Misunderstanding" in the US for his First Final Farewell Tour, the crowd went bonkers.
I personally can't wait to see them in July, and again in September. Unfortunately, Genesis was more like the odd man out last night.
The one thing I can say is I was surprised by Heart. I saw them in 1987/88 for Bad Animals. It was a decent show. Nancy hasn't aged well (her face is showing it), but they sounded great ... better than I remember when Nancy was a piece of ass

Gretchen Wilson kicked ass - she really did sound like a young Ann Wilson. I don't like country, but that girl has talent.
