In Canada we call it Pop. Pepsi is pepsi, and coke is coke.

As far as sayings go, I don't know why but the first time I heard "dryer than a popcorn fart". I LMAO! Can imagine that being pretty dry.

RockinDeano wrote:When you go through the drive thru at KFC, or Taco Hell, I bet you most people say, "Coke with that" even though it's a Pepsi Co outlet...it's a respect to the power that Coca Cola is.

The reason for that is because people are used to most places having Coke instead of Pepsi and they aren't paying attention to the sign.

Here(meaning this immediate area, not all of VA) anything that you drink is a "drink".

Most people here(meaning this immediate area, not all of VA) call them subs because they didn't know what they were at all before Subway.

Myself, I call Pepsis Pepsis, Cokes Cokes, subs cheesesteaks with peppers, onions and mushroons.

"Coke" is ONE brand. Again, anyone who refers to "Pepsi" for example, as a "Coke" must've had a full frontal lobotomy. It makes absolutely no fuckin' sense. NO ONE around here says that.

Well, it is the term that I most frequently use when I'm at work. I don't ever remember calling a doctor and saying "I just don't think she can deliver this baby through her Whisker Biscuit, I think we may have to do a c-section."
