In the early days of this debacle, it was alluded to by Andrew that he WAS asked, but he turned it down.

I believe Andrew's exact quote, after stating Augeri would NOT be back, was: "I never said he wasn't asked."

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I said that in regards to Steve PERRY.

I have made no comment about Steve Augeri, but I do know that he won't return.

I'm being completely serious here, so don't blast me...

I think it's great that so many, especially Dean have made peace with SA. I haven't yet. While I understand it may have been very hard for him to get out, he still did it.
Now seriously, what made you guys believe it wasn't his fault, forgive him, understand why he stayed, why it wasn't his fault, etc..seriously.
I am not trying to bring up the old shit, but move on my trying to understand because I really liked the guy and would love to get over still being ticked at him too.
