Bingo. Jumped right off the page.
Appears innocuous in this context but the normal context in which you see that phrase is between parties who are not exchanging Christmas cards.

Probly the closest he could come to going "I'm PISSED AT THSE GUYS!!!!" without saying it.

Absolutely.
To me it means "they are not worth the emotion." "Not worth the bother."
Brian May couldn't have written that any better.

I focused on that one right away too. I just didn't know if Jeff really meant it the way I was hoping he did. I've never really understood how the words of the phrase fit the most common use of it, but I've always heard it used to mean two people or parties that can't stand each other.

He's had long enough to think over the wording of his press release to make sure that his feelings come through clearly - but without writing anything which can give 'you know who's' lawyers any work to do. And without lowering himself to gutter level.

Clever guy.
Classy guy.
Made his point and remained classy.
Admirable qualities IMO.

Yeah, kind of reminds of another jilted frontman who's managed to speak volumes for the last 10 yrs without ever having a bad word to say about his former bandmates.

Jeff will come out of this better off.
Probably already has. He's got a few album sales royalties to come, anyway, because I bet I'm not the only new fan to have just spent some money @ Amazon. :D

I agree re: amazon.com!

With me, I downloaded everything iTunes had from JSS....
